Wow! What a final episode! I'll miss eagerly waiting for Thursday to roll around so I get to watch a new episode. I really hope they make a season 2!
One thing that stood out to me in this episode (excluding the classroom/hira's house?? scenes XD) was to see how Hira did not stutter in the confession scene and the scene after the boxes toppled over them before. This can be contrasted to when he reunited with Kiyoi when he first went to the play. I feel like when he is feeling confident and/or desperate enough to make the other person understand his mind, Hira's speech is also smoother. Hira might need to be "confident in his skin" at the moment for him to relax his mind.
Overall, I really liked the show - it had very involved characters, and as we learn from Kiyoi's pov, everything is not as it seems.
PS. who knew Kiyoi was such a squish under that cold exterior
Okay, so i was reading on twitter and stuff and ppl were calling shide an idiot and i get that. It was such as simple thing and if he talked about it with shuyi, it would have been better. I like how shuyi did not give in. he was pissed at shi de and thats a good reason to be mad honestly. Shu yi was bout to leave his father for shide but at every corner, shide was not sure about his love. But we learn that the father is actually a good mess?? He cares about shuyi in his own way and I cracked up when he told shide to not dump him at all. Also, why o why is shide trying to seduce(?) shuyi without an explanation of what happened in America??????????? like, he was trying to kiss and him i was like???? buDDY, exPLAIN what happened in the US and who was the blonde girl? who is she????
In defense of shide, I get why he agreed to the deal. As shuyi's father said, he is from a completely different socio economic status. They only way he would not be afraid of their father breaking them up is if he had the father's approval. Like i saw many people on twitter complain about this but as an asian, I do understand his thought process. - like you dont marry someone without the approval of the parents, period. Especially when the other family is rich and the father can destroy them mentally - unless you wanna go rouge or something. He already has one thing not going for him, his status, so he is willing to do anything as long as he can be with shuyi. He must have felt insecure on that front and also, he has loved him so so many years and in the beginning, shu yi said that he cannot fall in love with guys. So shide must have felt even more insecure about the whole thing.
All in all, communication is KEY and shide is a baka. Like talking it out would have been better but then, we would not have a very long drama kek~ But, if they did communicate, we would have gotten more fluff.
That is kinda ironic since we are doing this to protect this piece :)
Well, I rather have this than nothing at all and hope for more leniency in the future. And this is not the only drama that this is happening to - we are just the viewers, imagine the feelings of the author!

Believe me, I am not in favor of censorship as much as next person on this page - I make sure to select my words so that we can enjoy this drama as well as other ones that are coming out this year and in 2022.
