So far all the people lamenting how a second season might drag down the first season, I’d like to remind people that another Park Eun-bin drama, Age of Youth (Hello, My Twenties on Netflix) got a second season that was quite good (despite some unfortunate casting changes) and in no way diminished the first season.

The problem is not second or more seasons, it is whether the producers are committed to keeping the quality high. I more have problem with mediocre shows getting second seasons and many really good ones not getting second seasons. I mean how many cop shows and medical dramas do we need to see over and over again?

Whatever the case, I’d say Netflix actually saved K-dramas. I was fed up on draggy 16-20 episode dramas. Almost…
You seem to be nostalgic with not much evidence… the quality of Netflix Kdramas, both licensed and more production involved, has been very high with far fewer misses than the industry in general.
