I have only watched two regular dramas in the last 4 months because of those vertical dramas. They just keep coming.…
It was a little bit of both π, she left though and then he went through the usual bankruptcy, bottom of the bottle residency with that one faithful friend saying "I told you so" while his mother and sister tried to get the family out of their newfound poverty by selling the mansion and falling for a scam. Oh and the 2FL ran off with a suitcase full of gold bars π. But then the FL ends up marrying the Ex's rival who her Ex was impersonating, it was a mess! I went back to rewatch it but I'd been taken down and I don't know the actresses names cause they looked new π
it is still so boring.... no likeable characters.... weak and stuck plot..... acting overall is definitely not…
It's okay, not every drama has to save the world, try switching to another there are 19 c-dramas, (including short length dramas airing rn) one of them will do it for you.
Nahh William perfectly fits the ceo role. He just has that old money ceo vibe and the chemistry of the two is…
Mmmhmm, even his brows have a vibe of their own, he fits the role, and this opinion ain't because I used to fanboy him in LOIT where he was half a red flag π
I'm watching this drama and every episode reminds me of those popular vertical drama tropes of wife doesn't give a hoot anymore but husband suddenly realizes he can't live without her π₯³ It's one of my favorite vertical tropes, except for the part where the wife forgives and gets back together with da man π€
That was exactly what came to my mind when I saw the first episode! But this one is so much better than Kunning,…
Notice has Zhang Zhe, the princess and Yan Lin all got vague endings? That was what I was talking about, their story was left off like they didn't matter in the course of the story and they did (but I'll rewatch it again in case I missed some clues) and of course production wise the two don't compare, but story wise I reckon they can go head to head

But the other two male characters got nothing conclusive for them, the princess was also left with nothing, and to be fair, I was more interested in the supporting cast than the mains is why I was left feeling cheated π

Not appearing for 2-3 episodes straight at a time, also no ending to their story, and they were second billed, not even supporting (That's what I called sidelined btw so it may not really be sidelining from your own prospective)

The sokp? Same drama different prospective I guess, cause the side characters were truly sidelined in that drama by like the 15th episodes, the politics was lackluster and 2/3 of the side characters didn't even get an ending. Don't make me go rewatch this drama cause you're starting to make me doubt my memories π
It starts off the same as Kunning, evil empress gets a do over, but the plot is different and more interesting!
