TBH Thailand has such a reputation when it comes to sexual encounters in other countries. In India we always hear…
Yes, I totally get you. No no, you do make a lot of sense. Thank you for acknowledging and honoring my viewpoint. Yours is also a very valid point, and thank you for sharing it too.
It's always great to be able to participate in real discussions with people who can share their viewpoints & opinions on an important matter; which are totally valid and true :)

I get what you're trying to say, but I'm not saying anything against the realism of the show, but more about the message it sent out. Undoubtedly, there's this stigma around sexual assault, and your point on the lack of empathy toward rape survivors is not far from the truth at all (and actually quite accurate). My point is that most of the viewers of this show are adolescents, and by taking the risk to project such an important matter out on television, it's important to realize that the message that's being sent out through this show is also being sent out to all the viewers who are watching it! You might be surprised about how much of an influence social media and television have on youth, and Tharn and Type's story is just one of those stories which have such a huge impact on viewers; internationally. To bring up your point again, it's actually scary how many sexual assault survivors are neglected, and how many of them are considered "taboo". Yes, this story may be realistic, but it's frightening that this is reality! If Tharn had asked for Type's consent during that drunken scene, and if they'd given Lhong the legal punishment he'd deserved for his crime - this show could've been a lot different, and would have projected a better message to its audience. The realism and representation of Type's trauma would still be there, Tharn and Type would still have amazing chemistry, and this show would still have a happy ending. Yes, it might not seem like a lot would have changed, but you'll be surprised how much a mere consent can alter perception :)
I'm actually glad that this series is getting more inputs on the controversial scenes of the show. I actually watched this show 2 months back, and because of the massive good reviews and high ratings - I started off with high expectations. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the actors - in fact I couldn't have thought of a better cast for this series. In fact, I actually appreciated all of the recognition like social issues, and trauma survivors like Type were getting through the show; undoubtedly it was great that this show was breaking normal BL stereotypes. But, I still don't think that sexual assault was projected in the limelight that it was supposed to be. In fact, this is the reality of a lot of unhealthy relationships, and I thought that they would expand on the topic, and mention how this is inexcusable, and shouldn't be dismissed as something normal; or normalized in any manner. On the contrary, what I found shocking was that this was in fact romanticized between Type and Tharn. Undoubtedly, there were a lot of problematic scenes in this show, which I don't think were projected in the manner it could've been. I'm not the type to usually make comparisons between one show and another - but an example of a BL show which dealt with many realistic social issues, including self-embracement, and the reality of being an LGBTQ person in a not-so accepting society is the show "Dark Blue Kiss". PeteKao's storyline is one of the many stories that depict and integrate social issues through a healthy relationship, in a good manner! I'm not necessarily throwing shade to TharnType, but I would say that it required a lot of tweaking in the message it sent out to the audience - especially on what healthy relationships should look like.
Bright’s amazing inside & out. He’s not only insanely handsome, but he’s also insanely intellectual and is filled to the brim with charisma, talent and loads of potential! After some research & watching their interviews I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m in love with his thoughts, tastes (interests) and his thinking - not to mention his great potential as an actor. He’s such a great person and I think he deserves a great amount of love <3 Love you Bright!!
For anyone who has just completed 2gether, I’d HIGHLY recommend watching the special 5-episode sequel; “Still 2gether”. It wraps up the story beautifully & it was very nicely executed - everyone did a marvellous job and the acting has improved by a ten-fold. If you’re unsatisfied with this ending (like many of us were at first) give Still 2gether a second chance!!
Still 2gether shows that a platonic relationship is just as valuable as any other! I see a lot of comments yearning…
I was pointed out that Sarawat &Tine's relationship is a romantic one (not platonic), but they share emotional intimacy [which is of great importance in a healthy relationship]; which is shown throughout the show!
This was the sweetest episode to date. All couples worked well (which is rare on this series) and SarawaTine were…
Right!! For people who say BrightWin's chemistry is lacking (or any of the couples in that manner) I want to ask where? I think their relationship is so beautiful <3
Still 2gether shows that a platonic relationship is just as valuable as any other! I see a lot of comments yearning for a kiss scene, but I actually don't mind it at all :) It's such a nice, refreshing depiction of a relationship. To me, watching Sarawat & Tine, Man & Type and Phukong & Mil enjoying each other's company is more valuable than physical intimacy. The scene where Sarawat & Tine were holding hands with one another, those subtle cheek kisses and just enjoying each other's company is all that I really need to see in a healthy and growing relationship!
Are people seriously expecting the whole "rising action-climax-falling action-conclusion" with 5 special episodes? Why are people who disliked "2gether" even bothering with this? This is clearly meant as an opportunity to re-witness Sarawat & Tine and all of the 2gether characters that all the fans so dearly missed, and it's literally been such a fresh breath of air & happiness for all of us! [for those people who are solely hating on this because of the "lack of intimacy"...you should probably fix your priorities.] Or the haters who say that there isn't any chemistry between Bright & Tine, or that Bright can't act, it genuinely hurts to receive hate for something you poured your soul and heart into; and personally - I think they're overflowing with chemistry and talent! If you want to hate on the story, you're not only doing injustice to Bright & Win, but all of the cast - including the director, writer & crew members, who took their time out (in the midst of a pandemic, mind you) to create such a refreshing continuation for this beloved series. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with critiques, but refrain from spreading hate. This year has already gained enough negativity as it is. Personal tip: listen to the "Still 2gether" OST - perhaps Bright & Win's vocals will wash away all the negativity :D
oh my gosh I actually saw him in the short webseries "Boy Next Door" and I was wondering why he looked so familiar to me; and then it dawned on me that he was the main lead in both "Parasite", "Train to Busan" and so many other iconic K- dramas & movies
I'm halfway done, and so far it's pretty interesting. Is it worth continuing all the way through? (some say the ending is disappointing - but I guess it depends on what you consider a good denouement). Thank youuuu :)
I first saw him in K. Will's MV "Please Don't..." and I had no idea he was actor! I recently stumbled across "Reply 1997" and I loved his acting & role so much <3
I accidentally stumbled across this on Netflix but it was such a good accidental click. I ended up binging the drama in two days; overall I loved it :)
