Outside the performances (which are stellar) and the strong storytelling, special recognition goes to the cinematography (even with the use of a mid-grade camera tech), and an incredibly talented lighting designer. Because of this team, the image quality is incredibly immersive, colourfully saturated, and circumvents the "soap opera" camera look these drama often carry. Very talented artists at all junctures have created a stand out body of work.
