Your reasoning is very interesting and it makes sense too :)
Glad to have another constructive discussion with you after a long time }:-)
Btw, I've started watching The Chaser.I only watched the first 2 episodes though but I can already feel it's going to be a good revenge drama. What are you watching now?

I also felt that it wasn't the way writer intended to end the drama either. The writer was able to introduce and develop the 'blindness' arc of Anthony because there was an extension.I couldn't but wonder how the story would turn out if there was no extension. It's not that I hated the ending. Its just I miss the alternate one ;)

I see you point. But my expectation from the drama was a little different based on the earlier plotline. It did so well in developing and presenting the main storyline, that is the reality of the drama world, that I wanted the drama to focus on it till the very end.It is one of those rare K-dramas which made me wish there were no romance.I loved the relationship between the leads and wanted them to be an winning pair of writer-producer.I wish they left the ending open-upto the imagination of the viewers that may be their friendship will into love one day.

It's hard to compare between them as they have quite different themes. Moreover, Salaryman had an unique style. The only drama which will have similar style is Incarnation of Money as it is produced by the same team.
If you want wackiness with a bit of mystery then you can try Evasive Inquiry Agency. It also has similar "Ending treats" like Salaryman...you know what I mean right? :)
As for Saengchori,I personally loved it.IT has some great characters. Many people who liked Salaryman enjoyed this one as well.I can't guarantee the same will apply to you tough.

Title Flower Boy Next Door Spoiler
Once again my favorite guy didn't get the girl *sigh*
I picked up this drama because I thought the concept was fresh and I'd get to see something new.But I was disappointed.I have felt frustrated at the lead girls of K-dramas many times but this is probably the first time the lead guy annoyed me this much. The whole cuteness act wasn't appealing for me and the acting seemed quite forced at times. The story involved all those traditional elements as can found almost in all other K-dramas and romance progresses just the way I'd predicted.Overall it was a very boring drama.

Hello TranquilKnight!! Finished Salaryman and I loved it.
The characters were awesome! Baek Yeo Chi and Yoo Bang was unbelievable!! I absolutely adored these two!!
To be honest, there were times when I felt a bit lost because of the pace of the story. Also the plot contained few loopholes especially the sub-plots relating 2 Court and evidence. Moreover, I thought the ending should have been a bit different. Mo Ga Bi deserved more severe punishment,Hang Wo should have aware of the deception of her and Park Bomg Jang should have been accused of being an accomplice(he played a very active role in all of Mo Gabi's mischief and I couldn't accept he didn't suffer anything)in my opinion.
However, Lee Bum Soo and Jung Ryeo Won were true winners.I enjoyed ALL of their scenes...whether together or separate. And overall this was a very enjoyable drama.Thank you for recommending!! :)

Hi Bladey!! I'm finally free from the horror of exams.I'm glad that you like the King of Dramas. It's a great drama which sheds light on behind-the-scene of the drama industry.Even though it seemed a bit lost towards the end, overall I loved it.Moreover Choi Siwon won my heart with his hilarious performance! ;)
I just finished School 2013 and it was another winner of 2012 for me.The pace of the story wasn't even throughout the drama and there were times when it lagged a bit,it is still an excellent drama about youth and friendship....at least that's what I thought.
I read about the special. And you can guess how eagerly I'm waiting for it,don't you? :P

Excellent drama!! It was an ensemble of various genres and they make fair use of it.There was enough fun in each episode to make me laugh out loud, enough romance to make me root for the leads, enough emotion to make me relate with the characters, enough mystery to keep me curious till the end and enough tragedy to make my heart heavy.LOVED it!!

I heard a lot of good things about The Chaser and it's on my PTW list.I'd pick it up after finishing History of Salaryman as one of my MDL friends strongly recommended it,which I'd start watching after finishing School 2013 as currently this drama is on my top list, which, unfortunately I'd be able to finish only after my exam's over! So my situation is kinda polar opposite to that of yours a few days ago. I still have my drama addiction but can't watch them.So many good dramas out there but so little time. It's excruciating :'(
Good Luck with Reply 1997.It's a good drama.I hope you enjoy it :)

There were some 'kinda filler' moments which I'd prefer if weren't there like the brother of Victoria coming and meeting Na Young and all that nonsense.I also wanted some loose ends to be tied up in the end, like Na Young recognizing her mother and the identity of the true mastermind revealed. But overall...yeah I loved it :)
I think I'm going to give it 8.5/10 :)

Hello Bladey!!! I've finally been able to finish Once upon a time in Sangchori and I enjoyed it.As you said, the story gets darker in the end,and although there were hints of mystery from the very first episode,I wasn't quite expecting it.It's probably because of the lovable characters,light-hearted moments and cute romance that prevailed in the most of the drama.I'd say it was an ensemble of various genres and they were able make fair use of it.There was enough fun in each episode to make me laugh out loud, enough romance to make me root for the leads, enough emotion to make me relate with the characters, enough mystery to keep me curious till the end and enough tragedy to make my heart heavy.
