Yes guys I've watched this and the drama is brilliant. Fan Bing Bing jie never disappoint so far. Watch this and you'll find yourself wondering if falling in love with a middle-aged man is not so bad after all.
come on this drama have Leo Luo in it. Can't help but be emotionally invested by his voice. How can someone hv that kind of voice when someone else(me) have vocie that can make toads laugh
The first thing that'll always catch my attention to an actor/actress is their voice. Sooo many can have beautiful face. Many can have superb acting skills as well. But not much that have the signature voice that I can recognize even when they hum. Leo Luo' s voice is sooooo soothing and have that regal aura in it (even before I watched AoL). Were you a forsaken prince in your past live? Teehhee
I really really really feel like strangling the writers for making such sad and super tragic plot for Rong Qi. Like UGH!!!! Can't Leo Luo be given more screen time? Can't he be given more happy ending? Gosh these Chinese directors unable to detect such gem. (-3-) His voice alone can melt any woman and the writers always make him the losing one. Sigh~ But in this drama I don't know he's losing or what because at the end, Rong Le (Man Qi) realizes who he is (or was) to her. But damn the writers!
Like, the damnable Empress is his real mother but how could she did that to he own son? So pitiful. TT I cry a river during the Rong Qi scene, especially where he was almost strangled by the empress during sleep.
