Already misssing DuangQin.. I never been attached to characters like this. Am I crazy that I start wondering what they doing right now.. They must be happily living together being in love everyday.. *cryingg*
Altho I know they will take some time for new project I want TeeteePor's drama asappp ;((
Sorry but I don't find Duang cute, he is acting like a child, an annoying child who doesn't take a no for an answer.
I think in ep 2 , they already discussed that if Qin want him to stop, he will stop.. Well you dont watch enough to comment this plus Duang is whole green forest he always put Qin's boundaries as his priorities.
I think some people just forget that this series already emphasized strongly "Not the best but still good". Its exactly what they trying to show. It may not have shocking plot twists or a grand, complex storyline, but its simple setting and soft, fluffy romance create such a warm, wholesome feeling.
Not every show needs to be intense or groundbreaking to be meaningful. Sometimes, a gentle love story is more than enough.
Honestly, I feel like viewers should check the genre before watching. It’s a bit unfair to complain when the series is clearly doing exactly what it set out to do.
For me and many others, it’s a solid 10/10. I’m really going to miss DuangQin, and I’m definitely looking forward to TeeteePor’s future projects.
Is it just me or is Duang so irritating and childish that I feel embarrassed watching him on screen? Will his…
Keep watching . He really does get better. By episode 5 and beyond, you’ll start to see his serious side more and more. Yes, he can be a bit embarrassing at times, but he can be mature when it come to serious matters.
DuangQin is honestly the epitome of a healthy communicator. Please don’t stop watching! You’ll see both of them grow a lot not just as individuals, but also as a couple.
I honestly cannot praise enough how well-written Duang and Qin are.
Duang is over-the-top and very extroverted at times, often doing embarrassing things but when it matters, he shows very high emotional intelligence. Especially in the way he advises and encourages Qin to join the jazz showcase and confront his family about his feelings. Some characters tend to make decisions for their partner, thinking it’s best, but Duang is nothing like that. He’s consistently respectful of Qin’s boundaries and always checks in on how Qin feels. He’s so mature despite his chaotic personality.
At the same time, he’s deeply insecure, which makes him feel very human. Qin’s words of affirmation and straightforwardness help him a lot when he starts overthinking.
Qin, on the other hand, is cold and mysterious. He hides his emotions because of his painful past, that’s why he struggles to cry and often seems emotionally numb. He’s very independent, which makes him come off as arrogant at first. But in reality, he’s rational and direct. He doesn’t like playing push-and-pull games. Even in relationships, he prefers clarity and honest, face-to-face conversations.
This balances perfectly with Duang’s personality. When Duang overthinks or feels insecure, Qin helps ground him and clear his mind.
Even their family backgrounds match their personalities. Duang comes from a warm, open family where everything can be discussed freely, while Qin’s family is more formal and emotionally restrained, with many things left unsaid despite polite interactions. It makes perfect sense why they turned out the way they did, their upbringings are completely different.
And yet, those differences are exactly what make their relationship work. Duang has so much love to give, while Qin is quietly craving that love and attention. They complete each other.
I really have to applaud the writer for creating such perfect characters for each other. They both have strengths and flaws, but together, they fit so well. It perfectly reflects the novel’s title “Not the best, but still good.” They’re not perfect individually but together, they are perfect for each other.
This is probably the longest comment I’ve ever written, lol—but it just shows how much I love this series and DuangQin.
This series is hard to watch. I want to like it so bad because the actors that play these roles are likable, but…
I honestly feel like we watched two completely different dramas. There’s no way you didn’t notice how Qin’s expressions change as he falls for Duang you can clearly see his anger, jealousy, sadness, and love. It’s all there in his face.
As for Duang, yes, he’s over-the-top, but that’s how the character is written. And he can be serious when it matters, like when he supports Qin during the confrontation with his family. They also addressed the stalking issue during the Duang–Jamie–Pae discussion. They advised Duang to be genuine and sincere, and not to make Qin uncomfortable. Honestly, the show brings up a lot of important issues you can actually learn from.
I’m actually very picky about acting, especially with Thai BLs, but TeeteePor are a good example of solid performances. They’re not perfect yet, but for their first lead roles, they did really well.
Whether it's my age or because I've seen so many of its kind, the school-themed setup doesn't work for me as much…
I understand that this genre might not working to you already, but for now it really suits TeeteePor. Since they’re still young and this is their first main project, student roles feel like the right fit. Their young look makes it easier for audiences to connect with them in these kinds of stories.
At this stage, they may still appear a bit too young to fully take on more mature roles, so it makes sense that their company is choosing projects that match their image. As they gain more experience and grow into a more mature look, they’ll likely be given a wider range of roles beyond the student genre.
I just hope this won’t be their last project together. I really love their chemistry and acting, and I’d love to see them take on a wider range of roles as they grow.
What's with bl fan hyping series which are boring 😫 dropped can't watch past 3 eps anymore .
Give it at least 5 episodes before deciding. It reaches its peaks around episodes 6 to 10 (latest ep). If you’re still not interested, then this type of genre likely isn’t for you.
I’ve seen people say that the argument scene with Duang and Qin’s trio felt forced, but I honestly disagree. To me, it felt very natural and relatable. Instead of existing just for comic relief or to support the main couple, the scene shows them as real people with their own thoughts and emotions. We get to see their individual perspectives rather than them simply going along with the main characters.
I also don’t think it’s strange that Kim told Duang to stay away from Qin in that moment. He was clearly frustrated with Qin’s lack of focus, and it’s realistic for someone to misdirect their feelings like that. What I really appreciate, though, is that the story addresses this directly pointing out that Kim should be talking to Qin instead of putting that responsibility on Duang. That kind of accountability makes the scene feel meaningful rather than unnecessary.
This episode was especially strong in showing character growth. I liked how it explored the difference in values between Duang and Qin, particularly when it comes to gift-giving, and how something small like that can affect a relationship in the long run. Because they communicate in a healthy way, they’re able to work through it.
Their personalities complement each other really well; Qin is very straightforward, while Duang tends to hold back his feelings because he doesn’t want to hurt Qin. That contrast could create conflict, but it also balances them out. In the end, it shows why they work so well together.
I still can’t believe this is TeeteePor’s first main project because they completely blew me away with their acting and incredible chemistry. The reason I’m praising them so much is because, honestly, a lot of Thai BL actors don’t always feel natural especially during intimate scenes. But TeeteePor? Absolute chef’s kiss. They look so natural when it comes to skinship plus they admit doing a lot of improvision in the drama and that actually state how much they comfortable with each other, and it genuinely made me swoon.
It’s amazing to see them perform this well in their very first series, and it makes me even more excited for what the future holds for them. I really hope they get more high-quality projects, because I can totally see them excelling in more angsty and emotionally intense dramas.
I've just started the novel and I'm around the middle of chapter 3. If I want to avoid spoilers for the series,…
So far after reading the novel, it does not effect the story pretty much because the novel feels like DuangQin daily diary starting during their talking stage while flashback some of past moment and the novel actually very short for me.
However, the drama setting they starting from scratch like how Duang meet Qin which I think the novel does not explore much into it. The drama adds more depth, especially with how Duang makes moves on Qin, and also introduces more conflict through Tiw and Qin’s family. I really like these additions because they make the story feel deeper compared to the novel.
Overall, I think the drama is better than the novel because of the extra details they add, that we can rewatch back past ep and think why the act like that. In my opinion, since there's only 3 episode left, yes I recommend you to continue the novel.
well i dropped it immediately its too childish. the other one looks always annoyed....im done :---O . this is…
Nah you might not have watched enough to fully understand the characters. Honestly, you need to watch up to the latest episodes before making a proper judgment.
There’s a reason why so many people like this drama and rate it highly. Unlike many BL dramas, everything here has a clear reason—why the characters behave the way they do and why certain events happen. The consistency of the storyline is really top-notch.
For example, you need to watch until episode 4 to understand Duang’s behavior through his family, episode 6 to see why Qin is so reserved and his trauma, and by episode 7, you can really see Duang’s maturity develop layer by layer as he pursues Qin while respecting his boundaries.
In the end, it still depends on personal taste. But if you’ve watched up to the latest episode and still don’t like it, then it’s simply not your cup of tea and by that I dont think you can judge other people why they vote this drama high...
Actually, this is my first drama from DMD, and I’m glad I started with Duang With You. I’m not a huge BL fan, so I don’t know many couples. The only DMD pair I knew before this was ZeeNunew, although I’ve never watched their dramas. Most of the actors I’m familiar with are from GMMTV since they’re more popular internationally. However, after seeing the production quality of this drama, I’m really looking forward to what DMD will do next. I think Teeteepor has the potential to become DMD’s IT couple and possibly attract more people to follow the company’s future projects. They’re incredibly talented in both acting and singing, and this is their first main project as a couple. There’s so much to look forward to from them. Fingers crossed.
jamie pae would have worked better imobut i want cherry and tong to be the endgame so bad ughhh
I get your point bc jamiepae looks soo comfortable w each other, so the chemistry works soo well. But, since they are only friend, Im rooting for tongpae as well.
Not hating on NorthOtto but I dont feel anything on JamieMarvis's scene maybe because its feel out of place and we dont get any history background how their relationship works. All their scene is just flirting and staring lol and english dialogue make me cringe as hell. They got real life chemistry so far but its does not translate well in the drama. Hope they got better drama with better script after this bc so far loving their visuals. I feel like they can do better.
Are they DMD actors? If so, wow indeed dmd actors are so talented. Also can someone spoil me of the future conflict…
Yes majority of them is DMD actors. No, he not even an ex, that guy just simply Qin's ex close friend, have one side crush over Qin, thats why they foreshadow on ep2 where Qin said he dont like friend flirting with him, friend is friend no more than that. At first he never acknowledge Duang as friend but his situationship turn to lover. Dont worry, DuangQin gonna have beautiful and healthy relationship ever.
8.9 ? « Me And Thee » also 8.9 !!Can someone explain to me how raftings work here ?? The fans give ratings…
People can rate a drama based on the latest episode if they enjoy it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not misleading either, because the drama genuinely brings comfort to many viewers. At the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference.
If someone likes this kind of fluffy drama, they can vote for it. If it’s not their cup of tea, they can simply choose not to watch it and ignore it. Not everyone will share the same point of view.
Personally, if I like a drama, I vote for it and make my own review. If I don’t like it, I stop watching and move on to something else I enjoy. It’s a very simple formula. Some people just like to make things complicated by hating on a drama when you can just ignore it lol.
This is my second time having a butterfly in my stomach watching BL, last time is during 2gether era. Actually, I already left BL fandom after few years since i stop stanning thai actor. Idk how i starting this drama bc as I remember I randomly saw this bl through media social which kinda intrigue me to watch first ep. and YES IT SOLD me as never been hype over a bl like this.
This drama is so cute yes Duang is cringe character but they justify it how he like that bc his family chaotic dynamic lmao and Teetee acting woah i cant believe hes a rookie he got soo much potential bc hes acting is soo natural especially on ep 6 so much range on Duang character.
Even Por also, Qin is such a hard character to bring out bc he got some inner conflict that make hes so reserve and Por acting Qin's trauma during they performance is excellent. He also got some range bc it soo different with character Punlee (Your sky).
Then, I start randomly searching for teeteepor moment and wth they are soo cuteee I CANT i feel like mom fan altho im still young compare to them lol. Been hoping this drama to get viral bc it such a waste of good drama if people doesnt tune in. I hope it goes beyond like 2gether and Me and Thee hype bc this drama deserve that success. Finally, its happened on last ep 6 which they kinda got semi viral over the last scene ( WELL DESERVE bc that scene its such a peak the tension, the acting is soo chef kiss)
Kinda writing a lengthy comment bc that just how I love this show and how I love Teeteepor's acting. I hope the second half will be as good as first half bc by then this drama will be success for sure. Cant wait for ep 7 please come faster Saturday~~
Somehow I think at the end, the plot seems rushing and too abruptly conclude. Feels like if they use 40eps the plot will be much better and flow nicely.
I think the character that shine is definitely FL, all the senior characters especially Feng Pincheng plus Xiyang and Xia Jinyang relationship also take such unique turn bc I feel their chemistry eventho w such small screentime. Altho Feng Pincheng is greedy and manipulative, I love how all of Fengs' siblings got interesting personality. Everyone know how Suige is, Xiyang also suprise me alot when her character change 180 after she got news her father and his brother died, even the youngest also got a good character even being manipulated by her mother a lot. I think they give a very good redemption to Xiyang after being so annoying obsessive w SML.
I think the most let down for me is SML Xia Jingshi, Im sorry but i dont know if the actor is not that good or the way the writer brought his character just not good in highlighting his character, bc i dont feel the dept in his character and it very inconsistent. Even his last death he still think Yixiao want to back to him after what he done. It just soo stupid considering how much he had done for the throne just to be die bc of woman.
I love Chen Zhe Yuan through Hidden love but after sometime his character bcm too cringy for me, its upset me bc the earliest ep i could feel the dark charisma of Feng Suige but later on he become to soft(?) idk how to explain but the charisma is gone through the ep. Honestly dissapoint me bc CZY is great actor maybe he will need some time to adapt w such a heavy character. The only character is consistent till the end is FL. This is my first drama of Li Qin, such a good actress, would love to see she act with Li Yun Rui bc they give me the same charisma, they suits w heavy character.
The chemistry also just so so. I agree w some comment on how they suit eo as duo general compare to as a lover. I think the good plot save their chemistry bc I focus on the plot more than their romance lol. Even Xiyang and Xia Jingshi got sizzling chemistry more than main couple. SML is more worse he got no chemistry at all w any character. It like he build to be solo forever lmao.
So far decent watch 7.5/10 it could be good but i do not have any expectation at first so its just okay.
Altho I know they will take some time for new project I want TeeteePor's drama asappp ;((
