Right.. Revenge is not always about physical fighting. Why would anyone lost his life by killing and being killed? Rather revenge needs to be like - killing 2 birds with one stone (not being killed by stronger opponent and also able to kill that opponent with mental tactic). This drama showed us that. Like we had a previous hit drama like STORY OF KUNNING PALACE where male lead took revenge by politics not learning martial arts.
