Finally got around to watching and I'm so glad I didn't listen to the people dropping it because it was slow. I am a massive fan of slow burn and this provides all of it in bucket loads. It's a beautiful show and I didn't find it boring at all.
I think what talay did was perfectly justified. Lol. But it was a very impossible task to punish literally everyone…
Ooh, I didn't know about the sequel and that sounds interesting.
I feel like it's a natural consequence of what's going on where Gorya's presence is pretty much changing major events despite her feeling so small at the funeral.
I was thinking about MJ whose family is basically the Mafia. Is he going to continue the family business when it's his time to inherit. Absolutely not. And he's going to have a bunch of powerful friends who're going to help him end all of the illegal nonsense.
I personally didnt like the outcome like i can't condone what talay did but tbh the f4 boys really got the easy…

But it was a very impossible task to punish literally everyone involved. I always assumed that Thyme was not the one physically punishing everyone and he was just pulling the strings with Phupa being the exception.
Everyone in the school was involved, both teachers and students so this requires a dismantling of the entire school system which the world wouldn't be ready for.
An emphatic and kinder f4 will be hugely beneficial to the world when they grow up and take hold of their birth right then the savage one of the past. They will be the ones who could dismantle the inequalities in the future.
Gorya needs characters development. She is always back to square 1. This happened in the Tesla arc where we thought…
The dude was raging mess just a couple of episodes ago. She'd have zero self preservation skills if she trusted him whole heartedly. The classroom scene was proof for her that she needs to be cautious no matter how chummy they get.
But the next episode is going to be the turning point where she will know she can count on him and trust him so i think we can cross her trust issues off the list.
As much as I'd like to see more episodes I feel like the pacing is just perfect. I binge watched a couple of boys over flowers after watching the Thai versions' first episode and they never made sense to me.
Why the female lead was behaving in a certain way, why the male lead liked her, and I always lost interest in the bloated subplots. Now, I understand the story so much better and it makes sense to me. Gorya's hesitation to fall in love, why the boys flocked to her, everything is crystal clear.
If they kept it longer then I don't think the impact will be the same.
I had never seen the other versions before this show and I'll be honest I could not finish them when I speed watched some of them for spoliers. They either had plots that meandered too much or I could not like the main leads. (Wtf was that assault scene that was pretty much rug swept??).
Makes me appreciate this show so much more ☺️. The plot flows so well.
The original story is like that. People need to understand and to accept that F4 is a license franchise IP and…
It would be unrealistic tbh. People don't lose their conditioning so easily. It's a life long battle. I really liked the scene where after their date Gorya has a moment of being terrified of Thyme. You just can't wipe the slate clean like that.

I actually disagree about removing the aggression because it's a very common trope of seeing aggressive guys being super soft with that one special girl. It's the wrong message to give young girls that violent guys will never turn violent towards them because of love and what not. Nobody is special enough to be spared by an abuser.
Instead of seeing a violent guy going soft for one person I'd rather see him going soft for everyone which is what's going to happen in f4 Thailand. Thyme is going to change for everyone, not just one girl.
See this is why some changes can be a hit AND a miss....Thyme's observant and sensitive side makes him extra cool…
He really really likes Gorya and Ren knows. I think it's worth feeling incredibly hurt over if his best friend starts pursuing the same girl. I don't think he's going to be mad at Gorya as much as Ren.

Just one person making such a massive difference.
