Sometimes seems the people are going overdrive trying to belittle this show. Why is that ?

She thinks that either she didn’t read the scrip fully or that he appear independently.

The overacting is the parody!!!!! Done on purpose !!!!

I have already giving up trying to explain that the point of including these nonsensical situations is to show that how ridiculous it is and yet one see these situations over and over in modern dramas,

I like how they use the gossip and the books to draw the parallel with the online world of nowadays. A nod to discussion boards right there.

That why I think the mom will turn out to be the bad one and dad the good one. She is pretty much the only one so far capable of orchestrating the empress killing ( we already been told it is an adult). The first scene of her and Nan Heng pretty much implies she did something she should not have done .

Not a spoiler but… I would not be surprised if the death of empresses Heng’s career as mother doing .

It’s became tiresome. This show is a satire of many other dramas. They are actually making fun of the fact that people in dramas can never recognize people in masks.

It’s not that the ML is not quite up to the task of killing the Fl. It’s the rule of the scrip: the ML always SAVES the FL.

Things are supposed to happen differently because of the “butterfly effect” but the “ butterfly” turning up dead might mean that the script will try to impose itself and the characters will have to fight the shackles the hold them.

I think I can never listen to that song the same way after that.

It’s funny to rewatch and see the things you missed the first time. Like the water drop ( big drop sound here) after Nan Heng the pulls her from the water was similar to the tear drop from Manman onto Wei Shao.

Maybe he is destined to be the bad guy. I wonder if he will be one of the first character to became self aware and fight his destine.

He is one the funniest ones. Can’t decide on anything.

For me totally worth the wait. Is much better then I expected.

The flower bouquet comment. Was it a dig on Jun Ji Yi ?

There are some scenes that is like you are watching Cheng Yi. He even looks like him. The placid and calm demeanor. I don’t watch lot of Chinese shows either,
