They killed off the main male character. But the ending was kind of an open ending, so we don’t really know.

Almost every historical Chinese drama seems to end up doing one of four plot lines.
1- Killing one main character.
2- Killing everybody but the main character.
3- Killing half the main characters.
4- Killing all the main characters.

Well, I downloaded the episodes, and downloaded the subs from xu haiqiao subteam, their the group who subbed it, the subs should be on their Facebook somewhere.

I downloaded the subs, and had the episodes separately, and although it was annoying. I kept changing the timing of the subs.

The drama was good, but honestly the ending didn't fit the tone of the drama.

Season 2?

It has Japanese subs, not eng subs. If I use google translate (which isn't that good) it will take forever to get proper subs.
