Cute show and a great start for a new pairing

At first, Sun and Bay’s story reminded me a bit of Bad Buddy, where their parents hate each other, but the kids don’t actually have any animosity. Unlike Head 2 Head, where the families were really close but the sons hated each other for no reason, that feeling disappeared pretty quickly when I realised Sun has been head over heels for Bay since day one and they were friends during childhood. Bay has loved his little Tofu from across the street.
It actually surprised me that Chun did steal the recipe from Bee and it wasn't just a misunderstanding. But something I was glad turned out differently is Bay and Sun not having to hide from everybody. That helped to explore the good chemistry between Teshow and Ping, which I was shocked was so strong so fast. Bay and Sun are super cute together, and that could only work if the actors had good chemistry.
The side characters were all fun to watch, too. I was worried Bay’s mom would continue to enable her husband’s bad treatment of everybody by just ignoring it, meaning the guy kicked out both sons at the same time. But it makes a bit of sense when you realise she’s been feeling guilty for years for knowing about the recipe theft and all that happened. Boat and Kong getting the cheek kiss at the end was deserved; I was worried the series would just leave them "inconclusive".
I’m not the biggest fan of the main couple getting separated in the end because of having to live in different places. However, since we’ve known from the very start that Bay’s dream was studying in Italy and Sun's whole life has been focused on joining the national team, them staying together but long distance makes sense and works for them. No breakup, no characters giving up on their dreams to stay together.
