as someone fairly new to wuxia and this genre i am slightly having problems understanding haha. Ive watched coroners…
I also think that the moon envoy and the sister is the same person, they have yet to reveal it.

And welcome to Wuxia! This his how their classic world-buildings typically go. You'll be introduced to 30 different characters within the first few episodes/chapters and it can even reach upto a hundred when the drama finishes so be prepared. They'll introduce you to many different sects, just like in Xianxia, and each sect can have specialized martial art skills or secret weapons. And if you're reallyyy new to Chinese media, you might get really confused as to who Zhan Zhao actually is and even more confused to some names that they mention in passing (as of now). Basically, this drama used the characters from the Chinese novel "The Three Heroes and Five Gallants" from the Qing Dynasty (1889), which was made very famous when it's adapted into a TV series called "Justice Pao/Bao" (1993). Zhan Zhao is a significant character in the novel/series. That's to say, this drama is called "Zhan Zhao's Adventure", not "The Three Heroes and Five Gallants", so it'd be based loosely from it.

He shows up in ep.4.
I love his martial art skills! He’s so cool with his ‘pure hands’ combat, and when he holds his hands behind his back and dodges all those attacks.

I'm also Alen's fan, LOL. I haven't finished ep.4 yet but I watch this show partly because of him.

Three episodes in and it’s quite rare that I’m giving a show 10/10 so far. Everything is perfect for now, notable mentions to the fight scenes and cinematography - it reminds me so much of Zhang Yimou’s works and I totally love that. My favorite fight scene is the one at the end of ep.1 - the choreography is really beautiful.

How’s it? I’m pretty sold on the action scenes but I want to know about other aspects as well.

Agree. In the later episodes, A Sheng practically steals the show for me.
Her fighting stance is top notch. Like I would believe within a minute that she’s a real warrior woman.

As you can see he’s pretty much against immortality. I think he just thinks that no one should live forever,…
Let’s see how he’ll deal with that.

We’re already at episode 14, and A Sheng is still aimlessly wandering just to find her senior ,it’s honestly…
I found her part pretty ridiculous as well. Like so much has been going on on the FL’s side but she still couldn’t find any clue??

Ep. 14I still don't understand why Grandmaster Lu wants to become a mortal?!
As you can see he’s pretty much against immortality. I think he just thinks that no one should live forever, including he himself.

Lu Qianqiao revoked his jealousy rights when he erased Mei's memories.
I don’t like it when he did that as well but I guess her memory will return soon enough so he can come clean (truly, this time).

Title Fate Chooses You Spoiler
I have a suspicion that he’ll give his bones to his master so that he won’t use animal ones. Or maybe he’ll…
So my guess is right…

I’m guessing that he’ll give the ML his bones as an atonement and way out of the mess he has created…That will be VERY interesting and sad.

Ep.13-14 are FIRE. It’s getting more intense (and interesting) every episode: people are dropping (dying) left and right. Anyway, I love our badass power couple! Lu Qianqiao’s jealousy era is pretty short-lived, though. (Although I bet he’ll always bear this in mind and keep bringing it up). I wonder what Su Taiyi is planning on doing: I’m not sure whether I’ll like his plan or not…

The way ML is so ready to fight (/punish) Su Taiyi at the end of ep.12 is so scary. I want the FL to witness how ruthless he can be yet still falls in love with him.
