It could be much better but..
It took me a while to collect my courage since horror is definitely not my forte, and if you can relate this, then let me tell you that ep 1, 2 & 9 is the only scary part. So, you don't have to worry too much about it.Tbh, horror genre is quite new in BL entertainment, so I might put a lil bit of high hope in this one, and I have to say that I feel a lot of disappointment in this one..
1. There's too much side character storyline that I wish they could prolong. Cutting them short just to fit everything in 12 eps were kinda leaving the audience hanging and confuse. (You can clearly see this at the end when one of the character ask the questions to the other people)
2. The storyline itself.. is too slow. I know that this series is mainly focuses in Ramphueng and Khem but the romance is also a genre of the series and it started to get bloom around ep 7 which is more than half of the series. The ghost itself also rarely appeared in the early eps, and started to get heavy at the end, makes me thinking that you can easily skipped the whole series in half (started on ep 7) and still be able to understand the whole series.
3. The ending of Ramphueng.. killed my mood. I don't know if the others would love that kind of ending but not me. The fact that she have hurt a lot of people during her existence as a ghost, I feel like it should be more than that. This part really makes me wanna drop the series right away, making me rethinking my whole life decision in starting the series.
I know it can be much better as it's basically not about the cast skill or series production, but more towards the plot itself.. Due to their beautiful location and settings choice, the ost is quite pleasant to hear (ofc, casting the singer couple as the 2nd lead) and the acting of Namping is soo good, the way he switched between a few roles, and also Keng, the way he express his emotion, when he cried and feel too much of his emotion.. I must say, both of them just debut but it makes me wondering if it is just a lil white lies?
But still, for me, it's totally not worth to rewatch (unless you want to see the certain scenes), and I wish the company can give another series that's much better than this storyline to the couple. They have so much potential and it's definitely shouldn't be wasted.

A Beautiful Mess of Magic, Music, and Missed Moments
Honestly, I’m not sure how to start this. After waiting 2-3 years, was it worth it? Maybe. The series starts off slow and didn’t really hook me at first. Khanin’s character was kind of annoying in the beginning (probably because of his age lol), but he definitely grew on me later. His bold side really stood out.As a Zonzon fan, of course I binged this and Cutie Pie in two days—and to be honest, I still prefer Cutie Pie. The couple screen time felt more balanced there, while this one focused mostly on the main pair. I really wish we got to see more of Ramil & Paytai.
The part that finally caught my attention was around Ep 9 when the competition started. I was super hyped… until the archery scene. As a Hunger Games fan, I couldn’t help but notice the resemblance. And yes, there were Harry Potter vibes too—but I did enjoy the unique cultures and places of each clan.
What I’ll miss most? The OST. The classical performance and that iconic intro music were chef’s kiss.
Was it worth the wait? That’s up to you.

The story is a bit disappointing..
I got to know this drama due to the viral of clip on my TikTok, so when everyone said that it's an LGBTQ+ drama, I thought that this might be a good starter for GL korean series, follow along like Semantic Error so ngl, I had a high hope over this one, but girl.. The drama only labelled as GL due to a kiss scene of less than 5 min clip in ep 4? And on top of that, it's only a dream??But other than that, I feel like the drama could be much better. The plot itself were pretty good, but the scene were kinda mixed up here and there, as I was a big fan of scifi myself, couldn't also solve this part lol. The ending is not a big cliffhanger like the one I used to watch, but it still did peak some of the viewer's curiosity (including me), like..
1. Does Jein truly die in the end? Or she managed to survive?
2. What happened to Jena in the end, did she really lost her memories?
3. How about their dad, Taejoon, did he really the one at fault for killing Seulgi's dad? Or is it Jena?
There's a lot of question that we can't stop but wondering, but at least the ending gave a good closure. For the positive side, I couldn't stop praising their acting skill, and the plot itself that really makes me indulge deep in it, until I bingewatching them for 4 days only 😂 If you ask me if it's worth it? Yes, if you're into complex mystery, bully high school drama but if you're into action romantic or far else, then skip.

An All Rounder Story
Seriously, I tried my best to slow down watching this series because I didn’t want it to end too quickly, but eventually the day still came no matter how much I didn’t want it. And just like that, in these 3 years of watching BLs, this is the most all-rounder story I’ve ever seen. The emotions were literally a roller coaster — there were sweet scenes, heartbreaking ones, sad moments, secondhand embarrassment, and funny parts, all in one. It was so good that I might feel empty again, just like when I finished The Untamed back then.“Real love is not about making you blind, but about making you sacrifice so they can succeed in life.”
I’m forever going to love this series, and of course, I’ll miss this best-friends-to-lovers trope.

Don't waste your time.
I’ve technically finished this series, but honestly, I didn’t enjoy it at all. Rewatch value? Absolutely none. The ending was extremely suspicious and unsatisfying — a cliffhanger that made me wish there would be no season two. While the makeup and editing were visually nice, the plot itself was severely lacking. The constant switching between past and present made the storyline confusing rather than engaging. Instead of building tension or depth, it only added to the mess. What’s even more frustrating is that the cast is actually strong — every actor did well in their respective roles — yet the writing failed them completely. Each character’s storyline somehow became worse as the series progressed, which felt very unfair given their performances.
Watching this series didn’t feel enjoyable at any point. I felt uncomfortable throughout, to the extent that I dropped it at episode four and skipped straight to the final episode. Unfortunately, even the ending failed to redeem anything. It only confirmed my disappointment.
In the end, the only thing I genuinely liked about this series was the behind-the-scenes production. Everything else — especially the plot — fell flat. A good cast and decent production can’t save a poorly written and confusing story.
