I appreciate the ML's acting because I feel like he really depicted the reality with someone with that condition. I can't say whether I am for or against the FL being with him through everything though because it is up to individual choice. I just detest the yun character and it makes no sense why lian was so obsessed with her, I rather him be with baoling. I am not against mother and child patching up but I feel no pity for the mother, I detest her more than yun, your son literally begs you to let him be but you keep turning deaf ear instead you keep uttering it is for your own good( what a joke)despite seeing how miserable you are making him be. I thoroughly enjoyed the drama, despite the father's actions and the dynamics within his family. In my opinion, if the father had stood his ground with his family, particularly his parents, and protected his own family – his wife and children – the outcome might have been different. Instead of shielding them and seeking justice, he resorted to drinking and submission, allowing his family to insult and belittle his deceased daughter. This passivity was a significant disappointment.
His lack of assertiveness within the family led to his wife suffering greatly. She yearned for justice for their daughter, but her voice was muted due to her husband's inability to take a firm stance. The family's rigid rules and expectations seemed to take precedence over basic human decency and familial loyalty.
Despite this, I found some redemption in the fact that the father eventually found the strength to stand up for his family, albeit somewhat belatedly. Ultimately, the family achieved a long-awaited sense of peace, which provided some closure.
