Hello, can someone please answer me? Iād really appreciate it. I heard this drama is an investigation series, which is a genre I really enjoy. Iād like to know whether the drama solves a different case in each episode or focuses on one case throughout the entire series. Thank you! š
Someone please help me . Since this is a reboot of the whole Tomb series, I already know the story is going to end on a cliffhanger. I just want to ask if I want to continue the story after this, which series should I watch next? Is it Ultimate Note?
I know itāll probably get a Season 2, but waiting is going to take forever š Also, there are so many different versions of the Tomb series, and since Time Raiders is a reboot that starts from the beginning, Iām confused about which series continues the story from here.
This drama really made me want to cry š. What I love most is how the mystery unfolds bit by bit in every episode,…
First of all, I really like your profile picture. I did think about posting this in the review section, but the last review was 29 days ago. Since Iāve just finished the drama, I feel like it fits better in the comment section for now. Maybe next time Iāll write a proper review instead.
I actually thought it was xianxia at first. If not, what genre is it? If thereās a Demon God involved, I feel like the whole story couldāve ended in just one episode š
Jilu is the couple name for Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi š
Ohhh, so Jilu is actually the couple name for Jiling and Wuyi. No wonder people keep commenting Jilu, Jilu . I thought it was just Jiling at first š Haha, theyāre my favorite couple.
I saw someone comment ājilu, jiluā and I got confused who is Jilu actually? Is that Tian Jian Ruiās real…
This drama really made me want to cry š. What I love most is how the mystery unfolds bit by bit in every episode, instead of saving everything for the final part. The storytelling is beautifully structured, the CGI is impressive, and the costumes are absolutely stunning.
One scene that really stayed with me is when Wuyi says, āDonāt cry, donāt be sad. Awu will always be with you.ā I loved it so much that I ended up memorizing the line in Mandarin.
As for the romance, I didnāt find the relationship between Jiling and Wuyi cringe or cheesy at all it felt genuinely sweet. Meanwhile, the relationship between Wangyuan and Shi Guang feels more mature. Itās like they still have that youthful love, but with the emotional depth of adults. Itās a bit hard to describe, but it feels more grounded and real.
And speaking of Wangyan, she really feels like the eldest sister who carries a heavy responsibility, silently holding everything together even when sheās completely broken inside.
Also⦠why is the villain so hard to defeat? š Itās like she/he die, come back, die again, and then come back again. Usually in cdramas, the villain is defeated once and thatās it.
In the final episode, I actually felt bad for Lijie, especially when he was searching for Jiling. As for the ending, I think it was quite satisfying a happy ending for me, even though I know some people found it sad. Yes, their memories were erased, but it still felt reasonable. So many people had already died fighting the villain, and Wuyi was never meant to survive until the end anyway. Compared to living on while remembering all that pain or losing memories, but some of them are still alive. I think the ending made sense.
Anyway, Jiling and Wuyi have become one of my favorite couples. Theyāve gone through so much suffering together. Wuyi went through countless time loops just to save Jiling, and as for Jiling⦠no words could ever fully capture the depth of his pain, his love, and everything heās going through.š
Long story short, they faced countless hardships, but their relationship only grew stronger over time. Iām honestly so grateful they finally got their own ending after everything they went through even if itās in a different universe.
I saw someone comment ājilu, jiluā and I got confused who is Jilu actually? Is that Tian Jian Ruiās real name, or maybe Wuyi? I thought it was āJilingā š. Maybe itās because I watched the drama with a different language subtitle instead of English, since mine showed āJilingā or āWuyi.ā
By the way, I finished watching it last Saturday night. It was surprisingly fast. I honestly thought I wouldnāt finish it this week
I want to write a review, but it would definitely contain a lot of spoilers, so I canāt really comment here. Iāll just put the spoiler section below instead.
First, I'm REALLY liking this series! But I'm confused about a scene in EP 19. On the cliff, after Changyu drops…
He already knew which item Changyu wanted to save. Iām not sure how he knew maybe he saw her trying to grab the wrist cuffs.
Also, Changyu doesnāt even realize that the masked man is actually Yan Zheng, her husband. He didnāt tell her because in Changyuās understanding, Yan Zheng is still away at war. At this point in the story, she doesnāt know that her husband is a Marquis yet, so Yan Zheng chooses to hide his true identity.
At first, I wanted to watch The Veil of Shadow, but it isnāt finished yet. Then Pursuit of Jade kept appearing…
Ohh thank you. I really enjoy this drama, but the problem is they kill off so many characters my heart canāt handle itš . Ohh, is that so? I didnāt know winter could last as long as 3 to 4 months.
Still at episode 21. I canāt believe I just started last Saturday and already have 19 episodes left. I watched…
At first, I wanted to watch The Veil of Shadow, but it isnāt finished yet. Then Pursuit of Jade kept appearing on my tiktok . Itās really trending right now. I didnāt plan to watch it at first because 40 episodes feels quite long for me. I was actually in the mood for something shorter.
But since it kept showing up on tiktok with edits and even spoilers (yes, I already know some spoilers, but it doesnāt really matter to me). I decided to give it a try.
So far, itās really addictive. I keep wanting to watch more episodes because Iām curious about what will happen next. Iāve only watched up to episode 21, so Iām not sure how the rest of the story will go or if it will keep me hooked until the end. Maybe Iāll come back and share my thoughts after I finish it.
I want to talk about the latest episode where Ning disappears. The people in Liāan (Iām not sure if thatās the correct spelling) were all killed . When Chang Yu cried, I cried too it was so heartbreaking seeing she lose his younger sibling and everything that happened to Liāan . Her life right now is just so tragic. I cried when she cried. Tian Xi Wei is such a great actress her performance feels so real, haha.
One thing Iām curious about is how long winter usually lasts? Iāve never lived in a country with four seasons, so Iām not really sure. From the beginning until the latest episode, it still looked like winter in this drama, but I think by episode 21 it has already shifted into spring.
Still at episode 21. I canāt believe I just started last Saturday and already have 19 episodes left. I watched it last night right before going to sleep, and now I kind of regret it because I canāt stop thinking about what happened in the latest episode. (Spoiler below)
I just finished it last night. I thought Iād finish it this week, never expected to finish it so quickly. What…
What a roller coaster this drama made me laugh one moment and cry the next. I really love the OSTs, especially Sweet Recipe, Blazing Light, and another one whose name I forgot, haha. I keep playing them on repeat ... Dadadada~. I also adore Wanyinās outfits and makeup (sorry, I forgot the actressās full name since I donāt usually watch her dramas). She looks so cute, and the styling is amazing big applause for the stylist!
Chang Leiās acting is incredibly natural too. When he cried over Beiās death, it made me want to cry as well. I even replayed that scene three times because his performance felt so real it didnāt even seem like acting.
I absolutely hated the Duan Prince. I couldnāt even stand looking at his face whenever he appeared on screen. He was so arrogant and annoying that I just wanted to slap him every time he spoke. But then I watched the BTS footage, and he was actually cute and funny in real life.
By the end, many characters had died. It was sad, but thatās okay Iāve watched plenty of historical C-dramas by now, so Iām used to it. Still, it made me cry.
I also tried two other versions of How Dare You Too an animation and a mini drama . I dropped them halfway since the storyline is basically the same as the main drama and I already knew what would happen.
About the ending, they just stare at each other, which is fine because I understood the time travel rules. But I wondered since Zhang San has been in the novel world since his teenage years, how does he return as an adult? Luckily, someone had already spoiled the novelās ending, so I assume Xiahou Dan went back to 2016 before Wanyin returned to 2026, which is how they met.
