They are both good in their own way. The series takes the story a bit further. The actors of the series do an outstanding job, and overall, the chemistry between Kohei and Taichi in the series feels significantly more natural and convincing.
Regarding the different storylines: No, at its core, both tell the same story ā the only difference is that the series continues it further.
So this is on my list to watch but someone correct me if Iām wrongā¦donāt both actors no longer speak?
You mean with each other?
I found this: It turns out there is a grain of truth in the rumourābut it isnāt because they hate each other. Both Chris Chiu (é±å®č¾°) and Kurt Huang (é»å®č») have said that since filming wrapped theyāve simply been busy, so their last one-on-one chat was āabout a month ago.ā They stressed thereās no bad bloodājust different schedules and plans, and they still speak when they can and āare still goodā with each other.
But yeah, watch it if you have it on your list, it's a good bl š
Wow, that was simply amazing. The acting was incredibly well done, and the story āespecially for me as a child of divorceā was extremely relatable in so many situations. Well done!
I don't know what to say... The series was all over the place.
SPOILER: 3 sons, every single one of them gay... A story gets built up, dialogues are delivered, but everythingāliterally everythingāstays on the surface.
No romance, horrible dialogues, and weird relationships.
I gave the series a 5/10, but even that feels too generous.
Iād really like to know why it still has such a high rating.
I gave the series a 10/10. Normally, I'm sparing with such a "perfect" rating, but the portrayal of pain, love, and the fear of losing someone forever was so incredibly authentic and hit me right in the heart.
It confronts you with your own mortality, and I don't want to imagine how I would break if my boyfriend were to suddenly leave my life.
Nevertheless, it's important to reflect on these things because everything is transient, and everything comes to an end.
The message of the series is incredible, and the story had the perfect length.
I'll probably still feel sad over the next few days and shed a tear or two. But just as it struck me in the heart, the series also offers hopeāhope to never give up, even after difficult changes and blows of fate. Thank you to everyone who was involved in this ā„ļø.
Cute and fluffy? All I see is obsession, stalking, adoration, hero worship, lack of education (two men together,…
I know what you mean, and I can completely understand your point of view. Of course, the "relationship" between the two is rather surreal and probably wouldnāt happen like that in the real world. But thatās not just the case with Japanese manga adaptations ā many BL series are structured that way.
I like it in a certain way. I have enough "realism" in my life, and being able to dive into another world is nice from time to time. "Two men together, is that even possible?" ā I also chuckled briefly at that and thought: How old is he, and does he live under a rock? š But still, it suited the innocent image that was intended for Nakano.
I think this is a good example of how opinions and tastes can differ greatly š. However, your criticism is valid and understandable.
Two episodes left for me here and I don't know. I really enjoy watching it ā„ļø. Nakano speaking slowly and being slow when it comes to realizing things is so adorable. It feels so wholesome for me in a way I can't describe it.Gonna miss them after finishing it for sure š„ŗ.
Gonna head to the Thai version now. Let's see š.
Really enjoyed warching it.

So should I skip watching it?

The theme was something different for a change ā it almost felt fresh. All the actors did a great job.
A second season or more/longer episodes would've been perfect.

I had no expectations and am blown away...
