I just saw the movie last night. The ending is not that sad since the bad things happens to the person you are not supposed to like. However, it is kind of bittersweet for the young girl and old man but I felt it was the right way to go. It's actually a pretty good movie but brace yourself for some pretty graphic sex scenes.

You do have a point since I do like Reply 1997 more than 94 but it's all about opinions.
And it's also been two years since I got into Asian dramas. I have to thank my friend for recapping her dramas to me during lunch and her obsession over Kpop ( especially Rain) for introducing this world to me.

Maybe it was because I watched it on Viki the minute the subs were 100%( which was usually around 8-10pm ) that I was kind of like " really do you have to be an hour and 20 minutes". Also in Reply 1997 the editing was a lot better and scenes didn't drag out as much as they did in Reply 1994. It's still a great show and I can't believe it's already been a year since the drama aired.

Hi, I just wanted to thank you for recommending this drama to me!! I seriously do love this drama and you were right that this drama is in it's own league. I'm only on episode 31 but even at 31 episodes I haven't been bored once. If this drama continues the way it's going then this will be hands down my favorite drama of the year heck maybe even my favorite dramas of all time

I don't know why but I always kind of thought that MBC was the underdog and had horrible ratings ( besides their family dramas) but it's good to know that they're doing the best out of the big three. I also agree with your opinion about the lack of good dramas this year. For me, there hasn't been any drama that are airing now that I'm interested in ( besides Yoona's street and Surplus princess) but there is still three months left!

Well this movie was better than i thought it would be and there is a couple of surprises that you don't usually see in these kind of movies. You should a least give it a try since it's only a movie and not a drama : )

I still liked the movie a lot and the ending is a happy ending. I recommend it because it's funny and has a good twist ( that i did not see coming).

Are you guys okay with the fact that she ended him after coming up with that elaborate scheme to be with him? Just wondering about other people opinions on the whole twist.

You have to dedicate your entire evening or afternoon for this movie if you want to watch this in full ( but it doesn't feel like four hours). I honestly don't know if I like this movie or not, it was entertaining but it tried to include so much that it felt all over the place.

I'll take your word for it and check out a couple of the dramas like Why Why love and Sealed with a Kiss :)

Thanks for the recommendations :) The only other Taiwanese drama I watched was In a Good Way and it started to drag near the end imo. I already have Devil Besides You and Autumn's Concerto on my Plan to Watch list. But the only thing stopping me from watching T-dramas is that most of them have episodes that are like an hour and a half and it's really making me picky on what T-dramas I will watch next.

Is this show worth watching? Also on the details section it says it will go until Nov 30 2013, is this show going back in time or something LOL.

This show was a little slow for me in the beginning but when it hits the half way point all I can say is that shit gets real . If you think it's boring in the beginning stick with it because it gets really good.( trust me).

I love that in the beginning of the episode we were supposed to think it was some fight between Jang Mi and Ki Tae but turns out she really just pooped herself

I watched all six episodes and I am so glad that I started this drama. This is a drama that is hilarious (two words :Typhoon Invasion) but can be heartfelt as well but I don't trust any of the side characters because they all look like they are up to something.This has become my favourite drama to watch right now

As much as I like Soo young and Min Suk, I still can't get 100% behind this couple because of the fact that he is still in high school.

After two years of this movie being on my to watch list. I finally watched it and I really enjoyed it! I didn't cry mainly because the ending could have been better in my opinion. I still recommend it.

This was just an okay drama for me. I enjoyed it in the beginning but it started to drag near the end. I didn't believe the chemistry between Oh Maria ( who got pretty annoying at some points) and Ha Moo Yeom. I really had to force myself to finish this drama which is never a good sign.

The funniest part of the drama for me was in the last episode where the old Korean monk was talking about the Crips and Bloods which was so random coming from him that I had to pause the show and laugh.

I liked him in How to Use Guys with Secret Tips but turns out he was in other dramas and movies that I've seen as well. I had no idea he was in Miss Korea and when I found out what character he played,I was so shocked. He looks so different in Miss Korea then he does How to Use Guys with Secret Tips guess it shows just how good of an actor he is
