About the girls, agreed- Other small detail overlooked. Even though they are in it for money and are prepared, most of them do know about the dangers in the field. So ideally they wouldn't be blossoming with joy. You know they are connected so well in their network, so rumors spread fast, so awareness of dangers lurking is given. But like that girl still went ahead and got into danger even though jayhee asked her not to, you never know, there could be dumb kids thinking, "that won't happen to me" and enjoying what little they can.

One thing I can say for sure, not everyone can direct a perfect Action Thriller.

Correct, we need at least 12 episodes for the story to unfold. I would say, opportunity to shine is missed. Time is the culprit.

Yup. Why waste time on filler shots when the clock is ticking away.
We need more conversations and meaningful dialogues.
We know people drive to get to places, and the setting is Gangnam. No need to stress that. And man, the number of bad guys... eating up time.
I don't have anything against car shots with conversations like the initial episodes with Gilho and the inspector, they talk and share something meaningful.
I am not totally impressed by the prosecutor, and so many shots of her walking, evading conversations - scratching my head.

Aaah.. Instead of thinking what it is(8.5), I want to think what it could have been(10). After all, we have waited for this drama for so long.
My Gut feeling - It feels like an expensive drink that you treasured for a special moment has fizzed out, and left you craving for more.

The vices are many and virtues are rare, the society that we live in is becoming scarier day by day. I do appreciate the director for bringing forth a realistic story on screen.
Sorry to be nitpicking, but just had to get these off my mind first. Rest all was okay.

First of all - I thank the director for casting JCW as Gilho, but sadly did not capitalize on his presence. His screen time and scenes were simply not enough, it looks more like a collage of Hodge podge shots put together and with lack of continuity in his character arc, especially in the second half. His shots are so widely scattered throughout, you need to make a special effort to connect the dots.
Sorry, I know 8 episode time constraint is the main problem, but speaking frankly, I would have loved for him to have just 10 mins straight per episode, come, explain his character, finish off the bad guys, end the credits and go. Instead of scattered shots throughout the episodes, that would have made more sense in continuation and I would be seated for that.

Wastage of screen time -To provide one example, why would you prefer shooting just cars coming all the way to parking, people getting down, walking, reaching somewhere - so many minutes wasted with all those shots? would rather utilize that time to have important conversations and develop main characters.

The lack of planning on story narration- While I am all ears for this story, I am more interested in how the good wins over the bad through a gutsy, smart plan. We dedicated the first half to set up the premise of the story, what's bad and who needs to deal with it. The second half should at least be focused on explaining the winning strategy of our protagonists through a smooth narrative. Instead we are continuously watching the bad guys scene after scene until the very end and chopped interactions of our leads. Grrr... I was screaming in my mind, Enough of the bad guys already! Everything doesn't need to be ambiguous and unfolded as behind the scenes plan. Give us something to root for.

While I do not give complete marks for Direction and story narration, the Main leads get 100 percent for their acting skills. Given the scenes, they did their best.

Yes, Respect goes both ways, so while you dislike something, you should also respect other's likes and perspective. That doesn't make them viewers with less "intelligence" or "low standards".
Opposing comments can come in a "sounding out" fashion, or suggestive or even honest straight forward conversations. But yours are coming out like Crusade against everyone- on a funny note, please don't take me wrong. I used that word because you are all over the comments section seriously opposing and contradicting. You have criticized everything about this drama- from the origin, the investors, makers, directors, the acting, etc. etc. all the way to the viewers, you didn't leave a single side out.
Anyways, the drama is ending in 2 days right, please condense all your thoughts into a review and I hope it is in a honest, thoughtful and mild manner. I will look forward to reading your viewpoint.

Aaah..., a toned down demeanor, Thank you, I like that and we can all hold a conversation this manner. Now,
1. I already said - your drama, your views, like it or not, your personal opinion. But calling it out names and criticizing people for liking it- not good.
2. Over the top comment was for your Investment concern. Please read again - "This drama should have never seen the day", which is totally uncalled for. Frankly speaking - who is one person to say that right? There is a difference between "I should not have invested time to watch this Vs. This should have never been made and unworthy investment". That was the problem.
3. Agreed - expressing disappointment is not spreading hate, even I said that many times if you read out my comments. But you seem to think only your opinion is honest criticism and that others are defending/glorifying it. There are so many people who spoke out why they didn't like ep 5-6 and they were upset, but they weren't attacking the drama left and right. Hence people are miffed that's all. And yes let's agree to disagree in a very mild manner:).

Correct, that's why I called it helplessness, not incompetence. Even if they want to take action, they still have to prove which they are obstructed by top officials from the Administration, Execution, and Judiciary departments. Unless they club together and have a strategy out side their routing, they can't do anything.

Pacing etc. -
How many episodes did you watch clearly? I have to think with this final verdict on this drama you must have finished all the 6 episodes. Going back to your statement then, you should have not continued beyond 1st or 2nd episode. Then why did you continue, probably something made you look forward to the next part, correct?

Looks like the executives of Disney Plus aren't qualified to pick better projects according to you? why do you think they are reinvesting in another project for him? The action scenes were awesome, and he got so much appreciation for those. I personally liked the 360 degree turn he did with the gun on the stairs. That's a difficult one to do rather than jumping down straight.

Agree with both of you, people would wish for them to have a happy ending. But they should take some time off(gap) not back to back. Also would recommend changing the genre, don't get into the same subject again, unless of course for a season 2 of TWOE.

Yay, Great feat for a local language drama to stand out head to head internationally. And though everyone worked hard, the credit goes to our JCW for pulling all hearts to this drama.

They are more helpless than useless. Surrounded by the sea of corruption from the top, these honest officers can't go ahead with a sense of duty. That happens a lot in Real and Reel world.

Cheer up my friend! He is just showing you - "If I don this role, I will be like this..." serving us fans as many sides of him as possible in the shortest time.
That will only increase his popularity and credibility, Ain't no way no one is gonna to call him a second lead or support character because of that. He passes that Litmus test and stands out in every role, and while at it is also making some quick bucks. What's not to like about it? if you ask me it's a perfect strategy. Look at the shorts in Queen Woo, now it's practically a petition (at least from my side) to have him do a full length king's role (No nudity of course, i can' t take that). Isn't it a way to create a wave for more and more drama makers to line up roles with endless possibilities for him Also to draw more fans to his side? Notice all the new fans looking at his acting talent. I think even though he originates from SK, he is a renowned international star loved by the world now!
Understood you want to see more of him at length. From what i noticed of him, he will be working hard to provide entertainment without a gap. Don't worry.
