Agreed Diana, 8 episodes is too much of a crunch, 10 is better, I think 12 episodes is a good length. Holding viewer engagement could be the business logic behind this. It is easier to retain viewers through the end for a shorter story than a longer one. But the nuance of the story in a 8 episode drama is mostly fast faced, adrenaline pumping rather than relaxed, character unraveling mode that we are used to in regular k-dramas. Then the only way to have a satisfactory completion to a story would be to stick to the main characters, focus on telling the story from their perspective. This short story did not need that many characters and bad ones at that. We get the setting ! But this is a just a loose thread in story telling, not the entire weave. The story deserves higher than 7 in my opinion, I am going to stay glued to the main characters till the end and cheer for them to win...

Probably all those people who were busy with their routine during the week, have all watched it during weekend. Or/And, this drama is reaching out to masses through online news and posts, so more and more people are catching it now. Either way, I am happy for this big win for JCW.
All the points mentioned about episodes 5 & 6 are just what people are miffed about, because they kind of paced down the whole supersonic drama that was awesome. Consider those comments as friends freely chatting in the interval bang, not conclusive opinions. But let's not make that an excuse to rate this whole drama with low ratings. Please form your final opinions after watching the entire story and review accordingly. Don't give up, What matters most is how we wrap this up. If we end with a satisfactory bang, that's more than enough to make up for this loss!

True but wonder what she can achieve alone that all the girls, their caretaker lady, Gilho and her Dad couldn't do till now. The rest of the girls for whatever reasons they were caught in that web, but this girl comes from a good background and is protected by her parents. Her indifference towards her dad's pain just infuriates me.

Considering the flesh trade/industry she is working in, physical attractions like that are the last thing on their mind! All she would be looking for is emotional bonding with some kindness, understanding, empathy, friendship and love from her loved one.
Loved the show until ep 4, trying to like the latest eps now, and hoping to love the climax next week. Thoughts: 1. Jayeeh's death: even though its sad, the reason(s) for her decision could be understood. She was disgusted with her life. She tried to fight it by running away, but they would trap some one she cares for and threaten her again, vicious circle. They were simply scum and treated human life as trash, didn't give a damn about those girls. But I think, with her being one of the main characters her death came in too early in the show taking away viewer's interest, probably ep 7 would be okay for a rage induced revenge climax? Just my thought. Now everything seems dragged for years.
2. Yoon Gilho: Ms. Director - understanding Time Vs. Prioritization of Characters? Why do we have so many bad guys and other filler shots and way less scenes of our Hero?
3. When time is packed, at least need Dialogues that clearly show the character's intentions instead of ambiguous lines? especially confusing when the acting skills are not the best.
4. Yeseo - Didn't like her character one bit. Downright stupid and suicidal, no idea what she aims to achieve, but can't sympathize with her.
5. Feel so bad for the inspector, written as a very meek character, no wins until now -poor thing, everyone hits him. In Gilho's words - What kind of inspector keeps swinging and not win? something like that.
