I really loved this drama. Perhaps if you enjoy dramas for shocking plot lines it wont be for you. But I think…
Although i will say i enjoyed the second couple way more than the lead couple. Kang Tae Oh is just too much of a sweetheart in his roles you have to root for him and Sooyoung really nailed it as Dan ah. Great acting also from the main couple but i began to feel that Mi Joo was terrible at communicating so it made me less invested.
I really loved this drama. Perhaps if you enjoy dramas for shocking plot lines it wont be for you. But I think every actor gave real depth to their characters so they weren't just caricatures. Soooo refreshing. I love that it focussed on character development and interpersonal relations in ALL ways not just romantic. Like look at the contrast from where the relationships were at the beginning of the drama vs the end. Dan ah and Mi joo grow a genuine friendship against all odds. Ji woo is doing her best to be a more present mom. Seon gyeom is beginning to repair things with his dad. I dunno, i much prefer seeing that development over plot twists for shock value- just a feel good watch. And!! I can't believe it has such positive LGBT representation! Even May's asexuality! Great to see
I had hope from the first episode as it seemed cute but now i'm dropping it. I'm tired of dramas where i'm supposed to believe the FL loves a rude, mean ML when there's a perfectly good SML who is kind and supportive. I think they were aiming to make Heon seem like a tsundere but it doesn't ever make it to cute for me. Can't believe how mean his character must be in the cdrama if this is 'soft'. Loved Jin hwan, Dae sung and Ha young!
