Yes, totally agree. His face without makeup is so good. I can't believe some haters say CY's ugly. If he's ugly, then what are the rest of us? His eyebags are not that obvious as well, which's good as he shot this drama after his break. Poor CY has obvious eyebags everytime he shot ancient dramas. Hope he gets a break soon.

Congrats Cheng Yi. The good news is that Hunan TV will continue broadcasting DTL after show finishes so hopefully An An can stay at the top of vlinkage for longer.

The latest case is so complicated & really tested the bottom line of multiple parties. DTL never disappoints! Too bad, this drama is ending tomorrow!

CY always pays great attention to the script & he always discusses with directors, screenwriters on how hest to act the script. I'm glad they decided to go with CY'S idea instead as kicking walls would have seemed to out of character for An An.

Indeed, he's more handsome when his hair grows longer. I am so impressed with his no makeup. Every car scene's a close up & I can hardly find fault with his skin, with exception of occassional acnes & slight marks. He should get more skincare endorsements after this. I know he has olay, but adding another brand won't hurt.

An An is so shameless, praising his own good looks & asking why Ye Xin likes him. An An is so real..

I was initially worried about potential romance in this type of drama, but I think they have done it right. There's no skinship, but watching them leaves me with a sweet feeling. Kudos to Cheng Yi & Cai Wen Jing. I don't really know Cai Wen Jing so I can't tell, but I think she acts like how Ye Xin will act when she likes someone. Cheng Yi always delivers. His expressions make you feel like you are watching an ambiguous & sweet flirtations, it's just right, never cringey or dramatic.

Cheng Yi is the king of expressions. An An and Ye Xin did not have any skinship but CY's acting makes the situation ambiguous, but not cringey or dramatic. He's always so good at that, even in his past dramas.

So sad... we have to wait till tomorrow to watch ep 38. After that, 3 more episodes left. In the meantime, I rewatch a few scenes that I like. I can't believe Zhou Yi An says he himself is good looking. Of course he is, but I just didn't imagine he will say that without shame. Oh, An An is super cute & feels real. Cheng Yi should take more real modern drama characters in the future. He can dress ugly, has bad hair style & hardly any makeup (like An An), but he won't be able to hide his good looks & he will still do a good job potraying the character. In fact, I think DTL stylists had a hard time making CY looked like a passerby. They just couldn't hide CY's idol looks in some scenes, like the hospital scene, etc
