Even if he did, I am glad. What a feast for my eyes! His costumes are really flowing & elegant. I think it's just my preference. When I watch dramas, I concentrate more on the actors expression & this extends to their makeup & costumes. I read lots of comments mentioning bad CGI etc, but I don't even care. I am too absorbed by the actors' expression

I don't think CY & YZ's acting is similar to sifeng (L&R) and Jinmi(AOL). Firstly, CY plays 3 characters in this drama. In 1 video, him as his mortal realm character TZ wears YY (heaven realm)'s costume & you can tell at a glance that it is TZ, not YY. His potrayal of each character is different from Sifeng. The only similarity is his face when spitting out blood?

On YZ's potrayal. YZ plays a relatively carefree & lazy YD, then she grows & becomes more mature & serious in Part2. The only similar part to Jinmi is probably when YD lost her memories as BPL (mortal realm). Read interviews pposted by BlueCandy above.
Well, we can all agree to disagree, but I think the characters they are playing in IS have different personalities to their past characters, with some minor overlap and both CY & YZ have done really good job in bringing IS characters into life

I see Awkwardpotato uploaded YY'S Costume photos. Seems like there are only 4? I'm too distracted by MC & ML's acting to count his costumes. Maybe I will count YY's costumes next time I rewatch. IS gives me homework which I happily do in my spare time.

Just a random rambling.. Will YY's fashion sense improve when he goes back to Heaven? He's always dressed in neutral colors, reflecting his seriousness. I really like TZ's colorful costumes. He looks really good in darker shades of blue. Maybe someone should do comparison on YY vs TZ's wardrobe. I am sure TZ wins by leaps & bounds

Agree. He acts with his whole body. Some scenes showcase his beautiful teary eyes. His ears & eyebrows twitch. His hands are so beautiful. The director must know many people obsess on CY's hands, there are so many close ups. You must be happy..
