IS is one of the best Xianxia. period. They have kept all elements of a classic Xianxia & make it a gem. Who says you have to be innovative in order for a Xianxia to be good? Is a drama only considered good if you can't guess the plot, if visual effects are excellent? The answer is NO as there are so many things to determine whether a drama is good or not. For example, acting, chemistry, costumes, props, shooting location, sound etc. So why does it matter if the same elements are used? Through its trailers, drama description etc, it's obvious that this is a classic Xianxia. It's like going to a restaurant expecting a well made bowl of biang biang noodles. If the chef puts suddenly puts in random vegetables, you will not be happy. Same thing here, this drama is true to its genre, Xianxia, it is not half-Xia. If you expect something innovative, don't watch a classic Xianxia. When you find same elements, you call it boring. It's obvious you are already biased from the beginning. These past few days we have a few people coming from other pages to express their so-called opinion here. I think they are probably bored because their drama has ended. What I want to say to these people is Please RESPECT our discussion in this page. If you have very strong opinion, you are welcome to drop this drama. I really admire his passion for work. He is really nice to his fans as well. He never persuade his fans to buy things he endorse too. Always hope his fans are healthy & happy.
