I can't lie these recent episodes are starting to make me dislike the female lead idk y but i find it frustrating…
Grateful ? He tried to force her several time and use people she cares about to control her. He doesn't deserve gratitude and he IS a bad person for doing that.

The acting is amazing, but at this point, it's gotten so toxic that it's become unbearable to watch for me... The ML is just pure evil at this point : mad, scary, violent... There is no way I could ever forgive this character or root for this "romance". I wish the FL would just leave (or better yet ; he dies. This way she is totally free and does not have to live in fear). Then she can find someone better and live a sweet ordinary life (not the SML, but a truly nice guy who would treat her with care and respect, unlike this awful ML...)

If I'm not mistaken, people call her "Wangfei" in the drama. In imperial china, it was a rank for a prince's main consort. So, I guess her husband is be the emperor's real uncle, not her.
