why did they ignore the possibility of being each other's portkey when they met in the middle of the maze in literally ep 2?

I understand all of this, but what doesn't seem logical to me it that they had to break up. It's only 4 months which they could spend FaceTiming/calling, even the fans wouldn't be able to figure that out.

What I don't get is why Gene is always dragged into everything. He signed over the rights of his work to the studio but he got invited to the filming. This doesn't mean that he is obligated to do anything the studio wants him to do (for Sib it's different since he is the main actor).

Also, who can prove that Gene and Sib got together during filming, no one. So why can't Gene stand up for himself for one time in his life?

Yeah, it seems like the fans ship SibGene even more so we'll have to see.

I agree that it would be weird for the older brothers but until this episode I thought Gene was the older so I guess that's my oversight

Am I the only one who thought that Sib's brother and Gene's brother are together? It would have made so much sense for Sib's brother to ask Gene and Sib to tell the family about their relationship...like testing the waters.

I don't get why they have to hide their relationship... It's not like it's in Sib's contract (or at least I don't think the show said it was).

I have to disagree. Just because Aoey told Gene that he likes Sib, it doesn't meant that Gene should've told Aoey too. They were strangers, why would anyone confess this to a stranger.
