I thought that too when I started watching because the actress looks so young haha. But I think they mention in the first ep. that she's 14 when they meet, so like Pearl Sky said they're actually 5 years apart. I recommed to keep watching it, I think they handle the age gap thing pretty well in a way that's not off-putting. I'm about halfway through and it's a very feel-good drama:)
