Im going for TMOPB next bcs i trust your recommendations. If you know of any other good dramas with strong, independent, capable, witty, female leads that is anywhere close to zhiwei please let me know!! I recently saw 'flight to you' which was pretty decent as well. I mostly stayed for the female lead, i only started really liking the male lead after watching the behind the scenes hahahaha

I will convince myself that it is indeed a happy ending, but the director went thru a bad breakup during post production so he decided to change the ending but even thru his despair he was still convinced it should be a happy ending so he resolved it into an open ending in which he only showed the part where she jumps, making us think she died, making us feel the same dispair he felt

I have seen a couple of Quippe Quest's videos. I didnt quite agree with how he/she felt about Ningyi's lack of attractiveness as the protagonist of the story.

Hi!!! It's me again. I have just finished watching rise of the phoenixes and im going through a massive withdrawal phase hahahaha. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I quite like this more than love and destiny because nini's chatacter is SOOO much more likable here. I know how many ppl hated this but i personally quite liked how undominant the romance genre is here. I love ningyi and zhiwei's relationship. I love how their relationship is so much deeper than just lovers. I also love how realistic the drama is. And by that i mean how un-cliché it is. *takes deep breath* hoooooo so many feelings right now. So much love for the drama!! I'd trade my neighbour's cat for a season 2 but its doubtful to get one with both NiNi and Chen Kun. I dont think zhiwei and ningyi's story can go any further. I just REALLY REALLY hope for another drama with them. Like a spinoff/au. They meet again in the next life. Same characters with the same personalities, but different identities, and they live in a different world. I just think they have so much potential huhuhuhu anyway! Im very sorry for the rant, i actually do have a question... do you know that picture of ningyi and zhiwei on a mountain? He has that beard on already, and he's hugging zhiwei while wearing that outer cape. I saw that picture and saw them filming that scene in a behind the scenes but it wasnt there when i watched it? Was it a deleted scene?

I dont mind old dramas actually. Ok you sound convincing XD i will give those 2 dramas a go. I was going to watch TRoP anyway but im just always complicating things for myself instead of just watching them hahahah

Ok now ive got to watch rise of the phoenix. I absolutely love Ni Ni and Chang Chen's chemistry. I love it so much i dare not/keep postponing watching Savage (a movie they starred together as well) because if i watched it i wont have anymore of Ni Ni and Chang Chen content hahahaha. So i am delighted to hear that you think she has better chemistry with chen kun.

I do have tmopb in my watchlist but ive been procastinating from watching it since im not familiar with the cast. I do like the universe the drama is set in but i started watching love and destiny almost immediately after seeing the cast. Didnt even bother with the plot XD but i guess i do that because actors usually portray similar characters. Which is why after reading your review and finding out that u like strong female characters (which i absolutely do as well), i was hoping id find more from your lists :D

I think there's 50/50 chance he might be there. In the end of the movie he did say he was going to kill him and his family so he might make a comeback for revenge. OR they put that scene purely for the comedy lol after he threatens with that serious look then kapow, zzzzz. But personally i think its unlikely theyll bring back son suk gu's character back. Also the entire cast didnt change except for detective ma. Some of the squad members remained the same, there's jang isu and the police chief. (Lots of reference to the first movie!) Only the bad guys change + additional new characters

Me too! I've always liked him when I saw him in dramas but I never knew he could sing until I came across hot singers. Havent seen him in immortal songs, thanks for letting me know!!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡

I can totally relate. I, however, am currently watching HYENA and I mean it's kim hye soo. Nothing can go wrong with kim hye soo. You should try it out. I personally LOVE the chemistry. I was never a fan of older girls dating younger guys but i'm surprisinly not even the slightest bit not happy with the kim hye soo X Ju ji hoon couple. They are definitely a dynamic duo. I love it! Its also about law, which is a genre im not a huge fan of, but surprisingly enjoy when watching Hyena.
