I know, it's like it cost more for the CGI than to pay the actors. It's such a weird editing choice
Agree! Thats what I am sayjng.. keep the episode short if all scenes are properly cut. If you are cutting the scenes for no reason then increase the time as you have it..

They have 42 mins episode. I am sure they can keep it consistent if they want to.. even if there is time constraint logocally it should be equal for all episodes..
I just saw the scene I think you meant. And yes, they definitely stayed on Tushan scenery for a beat too long
Yeah.. its such a pity to feel clueless while discussing.. a rare think for me. Haha.. usually i am the one spoiling almost everything about the episodes.. today is new 😅🤣🤣
I thought he was the one gossipping about THH and DFYC with someone else in a past episode? (Ep13 or 14)
Did he already make an appearance.. wooahh i cant recall anyone at all.. Would you be able to give a bit of idea what was the scene like? I want to go back and check..
They also have some absolutely pointless lines that could have been cut instead (lines that don't move the plot…
True.. at least they could spare the crucial scenes.. let us immerse in the emotions with the character for a few fractions of seconds.. just a couple of seconds will be enough..
I think this again is because they follow the book/anime... it's about matchmaking different couples. But I feel…
Yeah I was referring to the the latest norms.. else I cane across a show on Netflix that has 69 episodes. I think its called Ashes of Love or something like that. I havent seen it but there are shows with 80+ episodes as well. But they seems to be old shows I think.

I know. Also many of their episodes are less than 39 mins.. why not make them all 42 minutes. That way they can focus on actors as well as sceneries if they are so interested in showing it to the viewers.

I wonder how much censoring and time restrictions in terms of episodes create a challenge for the editing team. I am sure they have a lot more shots done than they can fit in.
However, that's exactly their job is as editing experts. Therefore, they can't easily be excused if they dont do a good job even with restrictions..
