I just landed on a BTS where Hu Wei Sheng is holding a basket of egg, while being chased by Yue Ti Xia. It is possible these episodes will show the BTS scene I am talking about.

Alright, I think I figured out the meaning of the emoji under episode 31-32, which is a basket of egg. I totally agree.. making the situation angsty is the only logical explanation.

But DFYC knowing it from someones else, or from his meeting with THH would be equally angsty..

In fact DFYC meeting THH with the knowledge that she has forgotten about him will create more space for angst I feel. Him hiding all his feelings, and just acting like some random representative sent from YiQI, to discuss business. This scenario also has so much angst..

I have a feeling that emoji resembling some sort of handcuff under Episode 25-26 (tuesday) has something to do with Aa Lai. I have no logical explanation for this, its just a feeling .

And because I barely filter my thoughts about the show even the illogical one, hence this post 😂

As per the explaination provided by the show she is supposed to forget everything about the person she loves the most. Which in an ideal situation should mean all kind of interactions.

I am confused if she is supposed to forget all his memories or just the memories from the time she fell in love. I mean is she going to forget saving young DFYC as well? I wonder about this. Her look today looked like she doesn't know him at all. But can she forget DFYC who carries DF blood crucial for Greif Tree?

Also, I have a feeling for the purpose of the show they might want her to retain or at least feel some of the muscle memories like hand touch or something. Like something inside her must have derived her to eat the rice balls in today's market with DFL. If she had no connection left at all, she had no reason to eat a human dish that she tried just once with DFYC.

Yeah too many disconnected threads here to weave a befitting scenario.. lets see how things progress in next few episodes. we'll have a better idea about Fu Cheng development.

Now that you have said that. I am wondering who the final showdown Will be with on the Team Evil side? Will it be one Super power (one from outside the circle) supported by GG, Sj, Bandit gang (if they survive till then), some evil spirits?

I think in the cast I saw someone name 'Sesame Spirit'. Actor looks an elder. I am thinking could he be the one who they are referring to the one backing SJ and in turn GG? Or will this 'Sesame Seed' be some ancient yet nice Spirit. My vote is for Evil side..

I am sure everyone following the show must have seen a small scene in the trailers, where THH & DFYC are hugging each other and it looks like they are in middle of fierce war. DFYC is all bloodied and his hair is white.

The small scene goes like-
Caressing his cheek, THH asks him, “Fool, Why did you do that” (possibly referring to some sacrificial stunt he must have pulled)
To which he replies, “I fell in love with the best person of my life”. Saying so he closes his eyes.. He seems to be in a bad state (Wonder if he survives..)

Okay now my question is why do you think he has white hair in that scene?? My thoughts-
1. Did he get to grow old and live a full and happy life before the actual war broke? That’s why he has white hair (which look beautiful btw even with blood all over).

2. Did his hair turn white because he used all his power during that war, to protect the beings (both humans and spirits), especially THH? He might have exhausted his entire power directly on the team evil or transfer it to THH. Point is did his hair turn white because of loss of vitality and not of old age?

3. This one came to my mind after a short exchange of ideas with one of the members. The person assumes that THH might have met DFYC centuries back, and the current one is one of his reincarnation. If we take it to be true, than could the white haired dying DFYC be the one from the past (hundreds of years ago). That’s when he dies and promises to come back or something.. However for this option THH also has to forget that part of her life else, she’d have recognised him by now. Just adding this one thought, it has too many loopholes as compared to the 1 & 2, but I just added.

4. Or this could just be a dream of someone, THH mostly?

I agree.. His actions till now have made sense. It didn't appear like he just a suicidal character in general.

He is lively human, though he never had it easy. However, when needed he'd shield his loved once specially his beloved with his life.

There is a possibility that such thoughts come in her mind. However, she might not become a hindrance for him I believe. She hasn't done anything that way.

However, like you said if GG somehow manipulate her, she might hurt not just THH but DfYC as well.. In that scenario anything is possible because GG against both THH and DFYC..

No doubt on him bouncing back. That is my fav aspect of this character, no prolonged sulking or worrying.. He is like sad for a day or two and then back on with new plans..

Fu Cheng is aware of DFL? I am blank can remember any such conversation. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If GG manipulated her thoughts, which will be interesting. However, what will he achieve with this?

He aint DFL.. He is THE DFYC.

DFL spent hundreds of years sleeping in Tushan, but

DFYC 'LIVED' for 16 years in Tushan. He knows it all.

Considering DFYC character, he is definitely not going to give on the plans to woo her back whether he comes to know about memory before meeting THH or gets the shock of his life when he meets THH without any prior info about him being forgotten.

Only thing that can stop him from pursuing her is, if somehow he is made to believe that THHs true love is DFL. Even in that case he will never stop protecting her.

Therefore, telling him in advance might not have affected his wooing plans, rather prior info would have given him some time to absorb the news and then go ahead with strategising plans as usual to pursue the love of his life.

I hope he does come back. But I think the damage would be done by the time he is back.

His weird sneaky, spy like side looks make me comfortable all the time. When ever an important matter is discussed, his body language is weird, like he is making sure if Tushanians are able to point out the real culprits or are they still in dark.

First of all why are all these matters discussed in front of him?? I mean why???

But he is not around. And it would be a miracle for him to make it back before, DFYC meets THH. DFYC isn't far from where THH is.

I love how Fu Cheng's character has gotten more to do as the show progresses. In the beginning I thought she may not have much to do in the story, even if she managed to escape death in the hands of JRF. However, I am liking how writers have utilized her character in the current phase of the storyline. She is like a friend and aid in DFYCs life.

I can see she has feelings for him, but the fact that she is aware of DFYCs deep love for THH is a positive aspect. Because she knows she will never be able to take a lover's place in his life. I like the fact that she cares for him.

Also, is there a significance to her dream when she woke at the end of the E22. She mentioned to Aunt Yu Ping, in her dream she saw his heart bleeding and that he was in pain.

Is it a metaphoric foreshadowing for the possible heartbreak he might feel when he knows THH has no memories of his?
Or are we going to another heart stabbing event sometime soon.. with real bleeding not just metaphoric???

I was about to post this, then I saw your post. Exactly, I also did not understand the rational behind this.

I mean if they thought DFYC is so obedient that if they asked him to stay at in the market. he would do so or Elder will be able to keep him occupied, then did they also forget (like THH) how he has been since childhood?

If the reason behind not telling DFYC that THH has forgotten him, because they did not want to hurt him. Then please tell me what will be more hurtful him prepared in advance or getting the shock of his life when he actually meets THH? Also if this meeting actually ends up weakening THH as they all say, then wouldn't feel bad that unknowingly he was the cause?

Come on! he left Tushan for her, do you think if you told him he wouldn't go by the plan.

I hope between him meeting and THH, someone on the way has given him a heads up. I know a wishful thinking, still..
