Because you've mentioned about 2 souls and 1 body. May I ask a question? I have already posted this earlier, however you have mentioned the same topic, hence my question.

Is DFYC still carrying DG Luo's soul, even after transferring his vitality? Or has the soul gone back to where ever it was (most probably in DGL body in the cave)?

What does transferring vitality actually means for the ML? Does this mean 10 years were deducted from his own life span? Show didn't make it clear and I am quite new to this genre, hence I don't have much info about these things.

Guo Guo, could you please give a few lessons to JRF and SJ, on how to be good villains.

When DFYC gave away his vitality to restrore DFL' soul for 10 years. What does that mean DFYC? Did he lose 10 years from his natural human life span? or just lost some qi which he can replenish. Has the soul left DFYC's body?

When DFYC began to see memories of DFL, for a second I thought will DFL's soul take over or merge with DFYC. But then thanks to Aolai, he said the soul itself is disintegrating. Phewww.. relief..

See.. I deduced it right. Re watching is the key to understand these characters, especially for Non Chinese speakers like me.. hahaha..
I will surely be doing that because contrary to the popular opinion on this platform, I kinda like the show. I haven't watched a lot of C Dramas, and whatever I watched were binged. This is the first time me following a live show. I am still getting used to the idea of waiting..

Because I have no reference of the prior versions, I am kind of happy with the pace of the show. It took sometime initially to set up the characters, which is required but now a lot is happening without dragging any event too much. She is definitely treating him differently. It's possible she herself doesn't know that. Some day she will :)

Hmm.. fair points. So if I got it right, in regards to this character, its like reading into her actions more than her expressions and words. That can be an approach. I think I would be able to do so while re watching. Because being a non Chinese speaker my eyes are shuffling between the sub titles and the characters. It is actually hard to catch minute expressions, while reading. May be on 2nd or 3rd re watch I will be able to understand her more.

Ohh that's kind of interesting. If she didn't speak how did others understand her? Did they have mind linking or something.

If i think of it I am glad they have not followed this particular characteristics. I mean in an anime it understandable, however I wonder if THH did not speak in the show, how much difficult it would have been. How was the communication supposed to happen as they are dealing amongst intra-species. For someone like me who has no knowledge of other versions, I am relieved that she speaks. But again this my personal opinion.

No I haven't read or watched other versions, therefore my views are solely based on whats happening in the show. Some of the comments that I have read here, suggest that show has made significant changes from the original. Therefore, those changes have no affect on my watching experience. For that reason alone I am viewing this show just from the perspective of all that's happening in the show.

Yess, it has to be gradual, else it would be weird. That is why I am stressing that gradually it should start happening, else it would be too drastic. We have had a few glimpses, but all those glimpses vanish in life and death situations.

Agree, have seen those slight changes. Even saw her barely there smile in Episode 10 when TYY wanted DFYC to serve the chicken soup, which he was reluctant to do because he prepared specially for THH.

Lets say she doesn't have to smile because that how the character was in other versions. Then she has to come up with a some way to convey her demeanor as just a chief of a clan and as a lover. She can take her time, not saying it has to happen in the next episode.

All I want, when she realizes DFYC is creating a space in her heart in which ever episode I should be able to experience it. I want to experience the difference when she looks at any other spirit/human vs DFYC. How she does it is upto her. Character can not smile, okay. But than something else will have to fill in that.

It will be sad if after realizing that DFYC is slightly more than a clan member she is responsible for, she holds the same demeanor when he is hurt. Because I am sure he will. Almost everyone is after him like he is a blood bag or something.. hahaa..

Am I the only one of the opinion that SJ as a threat was more convincing as black smoke inside the Grief Tree, before she transformed into her current body. Right now she is all words, not much actions. She is the first one to get hurt and puke blood when THH attacks (has happened twice till now).
Why is even bothering to become ruler of 6 realms, when she can't even counter Shi Kuan alone with her spirit army. I mean she couldn't even manage to reach the gates of the Spirit-Master Kingdom.

The way Villains of this show just flee, even on slightest threat is not even funny. Why do we need JRF and SJ when we have Guo Guo.

JRF and SJ are all talks, but Guo Guo all about taking actions. He is so focused on his revenge against human race that he didn't even hesitate a bit before killing a good human who actually freed his race of spirit controlling Talisman.

Now it is also confirmed that the he is the one who manipulated the dream during Matchmaking Event, trapping THH in the nightmare.

As per DF Luo's memories, we are sure THH was once a bubbly and carefree spirit. Events across the hundred's of years that she is alive for and added responsibility of survival of an entire species has made her what she is right now. However, the flashback has given me a hope there could come a time she will show that carefree side of hers, even a glimpse of that would be nice.

I guess that could be a differentiating factor between a Anime and real people playing characters. Because we have real people interacting, we expect some real emotions. No matter how Stern one is or has to be, when they are around their loved ones they are slightly different. I want to see that different. That difference doesn't need to be expressed via face, it could be anything. All I want to see is see the difference when these two are surrounded by others vs when they are all by themselves. Guess that's not asking for too much! is it?

As soon as I began to connect with Princess Bai Tu and Shi Kuan, episode 12 had to happen, eye roll..

I wonder if her dying is permanent or is it open for a come back. If she makes a comeback will she be reinstated in the same body or a reincarnation with same or different face?? Shi Kuan is going to dedicate all his to fulfill BT's dream of peace in the kingdom.

Up til now I have been accepting of THH's minimal expressions, considering character being a figure in charge of an entire species/clan. However, now that show has started to build on love/romance angle, whatever one may call. I would like her to begin to be a bit more emotive like a smile here and there, change in her eyes, etc, especially around DFYC. She can maintain her stern look around everyone else, but it would be nice to see her soften gradually with DFYC.

Preview of episode 14 does give an impression that there would be ample opportunities for them both to show their affection for each other. I am expecting to a different side of THH, because DFYC is already carrying his heart on his sleeve.
