The biggest villian is stil Wei Qiu Zi (after 15 episodes). I would rather deal with a woman like Zeng Di anyday over someone like Wei Qiu Zi who smiles like butter wouldn't melt while is also sharpening a knife to stab you in the back.
I like how mature their breakup was, her ex is not a bad guy. But honestly, I still can't get over the fact that…
The ex didn't do anything wrong when he ended his relationship but the friend def did. She was doing her best to undermind their relationship by planting seeds of doubt in the ex's. Then she made an effort to seek out her friend's man alone. The loaning of the money without telling Ji Xing etc...
Who needs enemies when you have friends like those
Spoiler. But in the drama ending song they get married 😮💨
I hope there is a twist. I just hate scheming people getting a HEA. She deserves to lose all of her friends at the bare minimum. The real karma would be if the friend loses Yichen inthe same way she got him.
I hope karma gets that pick me "friend". I clocked her ass as soon she was hyper focused on Yichen at the first group dinner, even before I saw her trying to plant seeds of doubt into Yichen . She thinks she is slick but I hope her plan backfires.
I don't know if it is a good idea to hire NIW so close to his enlistmen. He just confirmed he is leaving 1 Night, 2 Days'. I truly hope for everyone's sake that he can finish filming and not have what happened with EXO's Kai.
He will be enlisted when this airs so won't be able to do any promo.
If none of the younger actors want this drama then the team needs to age up the characters. Maybe make them late 30s or older but use other actors (hopefully unknown) to be the younger versions
Episode 10 kinda jumped the shark. The breakup was kinda of forced but both parties getting into new relationships same day gave me whiplash. The breakup fallout should've lasted more than 2 mins.
They messed up by making both timelines look visually identical. The confusion has made people drop this drama too fast. They could've change the female lead's hair or coloring so we can see when the timeline changes.
One thing I'm confused about, in the flashback of the Hong family, Haein was the baby and had two older brothers but ain't she supposed to be older than Soocheol?
I love a slow burn but this starting to drag (I'm on epsiode 12). We know very surface level stuff about the female lead, we don't know any more about her by epsiode 12 than we did by episode 3. At least we get glimpses about male lead's life before .
For a couple trying to get know each other , the couple ain't asking basic questions about each other and their lives before they met. The deepest they went is when they shared their bank balances.
Anyway, I like both leads and will watch the second half when it finishes airing so I can binge
Why the odd amount? Was she trying to match fan donations?Dollars as in american dollars or korean? Cos I feel…
Of all the celebs to nitpick at, IU is the wrong one to choose when it comes to charity. She donates all the time and we only know about the ones she does under her name/fandom.
I checked and she has made at least $3.5M in donations to various charities since 2010. That's not including her gifts to chartities or her time volunteering.
I just found the English translation of this and was happy to see it will be a drama. But I need Cdramaland to stop casting babyface actors as CEOs. No shade to Xu Kai but Wang Kai would've been suitable as a CEO in his 30s.
I hope the chemistry between Tan Songyuan and Xu Kai makes up for the age issue.
I bet the little girl (Oh Ji Yul) from The Glory will be casted for the young version of Tan Songyun's role. The kid from Hospital Playlist (Kim Jun) and the kid from Hi,Mama (Seo Woo Jin) will be my guesses for the young male verisons.
I don't mind dramas being remade but the casting is so far off IMO. Jung Chaeyeon is a beautiful person but she doesn't suit Tan Songyun's role at all. I was imagining someone like Kim Bo-ra or Ryu Hye-young or even Kim Hyang Gi.

The ML in this drama is ex-police man so censors will probably look at this drama even closer.
