Again, I disagree. first she went through probably an hour or two of her hubby being kidnapped and chasing down the kidnapper, then she had to rescue and resuscitate him, then at the hospital he went into cardiac arrest, and then he was asleep for 10 days. AKA first she had to struggle really hard to save him, and then all she could do was sit back and watch. I don't cry that often and even I would be freaking stressed enough to breakdown. also add the stress of figuring out said hubby is wanted for murder and has been lying about his identity since before you met him. It's everything thrown together that threw her over the edge.
The writing in this drama phenomenal.. First they made us to believe tha ML is a psychopathic killer but it turned…
I don't know what you meant by "they made us believe that the FL will be the typical annoying FL with sense of utter despair/fear from the ML" Nothing she's done up to this point indicated that.
1. She didn't judge the lawyer, a guy she had never met, even though his 12 y/o accused him of attempted murder 2. she put up with his 'parents' 3. She got past how rude he was that time she confessed she liked him 4. She didn't judge him when he said he saw a ghost from his past, or when he said the type of person he used to be 5. She kept the watch, knowing that it simply being at the crime scene would make him a prime suspect, wanting to get answers first. 6. she kept trying to get ji hoon to stop asking about said watch 7. she stayed by his bedside even after knowing he was Hyun Su
The one thing I can think of is when she shied away from his hand after he woke up.
Maybe the real BHS before he dyed his hair. And your theory about the sister being the accomplice was proved to…
Yeah, I clearly already know that from the description of the accomplice. Also based on what Hyun Su said (I found out he was a serial killer from the TV), he didn't kill his dad either XD.
So far:Oh Young Joon/Hong Seo Joon (their captain XD)- Can't find height, but he has black hair, a stocky build,…
Yeah, that scene was pretty sweet. He was definitely taken by surprise at how normally she treated him even after he said he used to enjoy beating people up. I don't think he ever wanted a pretentious normal life, just a quiet one. The new name gave him anonymity and a metal crafting studio where he could continue doing what he enjoys, and Jiwon gave him freedom from the mental burden of his past. I don't think he ever was after clearing his name.
I honestly think she would view it that way. When they first met he was probably the only eligible guy she had contact with due to being busy prepping for police work and helping her mother with the store. It seems Hyun Su was a creature of habit, coming in whenever he wanted beer. Seeing him on a somewhat regular enough basis to feel safe around him. I think what really attracted her to him was his sheltered personality, she doesn't care about one's past, only the present. At that time he was calm, considerate, and routine. Which meant more likely to have a stable future despite being a detective. Ji Won is constantly leaving on important things because of the fickle nature of her job, but Hyun Su doesn't put too much weight on things like birthdays, promotions, and other such events, he doesn't get upset that she isn't always there for such things, but respects that she and Eun Ha do. Also him being the way he is meant they could raise Eun Ha together, which is honestly the most adorable thing.
Yeah I want more of her 'complicated' past, maybe a little info on what inspired her to be a cop.

That's def true. I vaguely remember a drama where the serial Killer kindly played along without MC know they had been clued in. To be honest I'm not picking up too many creepy vibes from him. He seems more mellow than the rest of the cops there.
To be fair I've only seen 5 and 6 twice. I'm not sure if I'm incredibly dense or if this is just a masterpiece but I pick up something new every time. rewatched the first 10m of ep 1 in the last hour and realized that "She only believes what she sees" was a statement he made after he said "We're a match made in heaven, Jiwon and I" At that time I didn't know what the story would be or what his past was so I thought he was just using her, but now that we see her giving him the benefit of the doubt due to it all being circumstantial evidence and hearsay, I realize he was kinda spot on.

Yup, he's on my list to check out! but I feel like he'd recognize Baek hee seong/do hyun su if he used to work with his dad. He's 6 foot, but that doesn't throw a wrench into it completely. I need to go back through the series for a 4th time. Also another thing that makes him a good suspect is that he has no emotional attachment to either BHS or his wife, and yet they've given him a decent amount of screen time.

So far: Oh Young Joon/Hong Seo Joon (their captain XD)- Can't find height, but he has black hair, a stocky build, is an adult, and is listed as support despite being in like, 1 ep so far. Yoon Sang Pil/Im Chul Hyung (rando detective guy) - still cant find height, black hair (who would have guessed?), stocky enough build, supporting cast.
What we know about the accomplice: - Adult male - roughly 5'9" - black hair (at time of kidnapping) - stocky build - must be in main/supporting cast cause no way in heck they are having a secondary antag in the extra's section.
It lives up to the current rating, but your level of patience should determine whether you watch. I have a very…
Glad to hear it! yeah the mystery is building nicely I need to go confirm something real quick. <---- has watched all the episodes multiple times and still misses stuff.
No offense but I hate Moon Chae Won acting. This is my 3rd time watching her in a drama and still her acting dosen't…
Interesting. in times of extreme emotion I can see what you're talking about, but other scenes I can't agree.
When she was starting to piece things together on her own she held a much more neutral expression than most the Korean actresses I know, some with the scene at the supermarket when she's worried about the blackout and trying to convince him to stay. In some of her scenes I've felt she's too played down due to my own personal experience with friends, teachers, office workers etc..
if the husband is overly innocent it will ruin the drama
dude, he admitted to killing the foreman (something im hoping they dont back track on, tho he might get a defense plea, or even not guilty on insufficient evidence), and he already kidnapped someone.
I thought homework would be better if I got the ep out of the way... but DAAAANG I can't stop thinking about it! def watching 5 and 6 again when I get home after my presentation.
It's so intense. It was great from the beginning and I feel it's getting better and better with every episode.Yesterday…
I'm in the middle of watching ep 5 for the 3rd time... I adore the attention to detail in the first scene when they are at the store. Also I can't wait till ep 9, because I'll be at my parents house and they have TVN.
