His eyes are unique and he's got a nice voice. Charismatic, deft actor who's great to watch. He's gotten quite thin lately though...stay healthy and gain some weight please. ^^
Okay, so I just finished this more than a week late. *heavy sigh* I don't want a season 2. I'm glad it's over; a special I wouldn't mind but it ended well in my opinion. I still have a soft spot for the 8th prince. Overall, it was gloomy but worth watching. <3 I feel like I've lived with the characters for years. (I do agree with one reviewer: that hip-hop song has no place in a historical).
As an avid fan of the original manga series, I was surprised I didn't enjoy the movie adaption as much as I grew…
I haven't read the manga (or bothered to see the anime after having seen this movie) but I totally agree with you about everything else. I find the movie overrated although it had a nice premise. The cinematography was great though!
Aka-chan to Boku -- ahh, the memories. I actually watched it dubbed in Arabic. I didn't see much of it but the opening theme song (Arabic version) and the images always tugged at my heart. I think I'd get teary-eyed if I saw its drama; it's too moving. ^^' Would be a great watch. (I don't know the others but I'm down for a good (J)drama).
I watched Orange; I didn't find it mind-blowing but I loved the scenery/cinematography and the premise was an instant pull. I've bookmarked the other two for sure! Thanks a lot for this article, mz4jun! :)
Gappa looks interesting, K2 will garner a lot of popularity. I'm gonna check them and others out. How exciting~ :) Ah...too many to watch, so little time.
Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu, and Rent-A-Rescue. :3
