Great side characters, fabulous acting by Ji Sung and Uhm Ki Joon. The suspenseful parts I had to pause 'cuz it was too much to handle! However, I felt it was slightly overrated. Happy I saw it.
I actually first read the manga. It was a pleasant find and I loved it. I remember the comedy more than anything. I'd have liked that to be found in the Japanese 2005/2007/2008 drama versions, but I still enjoyed them. I should pick them up again because it's been a long time and I barely recall the events, lol. But yeah, you found yourself a Domyouji? Neat! (PS: I wouldn't consider Moon River as an adaptation because I think it was based on a different manga?)
An idea for writers: Saeguk (Korean historical dramas) need an article showing them some love! I'd do it but it'd be hard to write an appealing article I think. Good luck to those who decide to do them though. Maybe someday...
I can't seem to find this track here: http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Warrior_Baek_Dong_Soo_OST Which are you referring…
I think you're referring to Shin Sung Woo's Goyeo. I think it's powerful, too!! I like the line "If you cannot protect me, take me with you. So that the darkness won't swallow me again". Where'd you find Choi Min Soo's version of the song?
I follow his Instagram lol. I've watched Orange, LDK (don't remember if I finished it), Heroine Shikkaku (my first time watching him), Suki na Hito Ga Iru Koto, and just a few days ago One Week Friends. I found his character delightfully different from his usual roles in OWF; he was adorable being all dorky and happy-go-lucky!
Years ago, I watched him in King Of Baking and I didn't like his character. Then I watched him recently in Warrior Baek Dong Soo and I was captivated by his acting. A new fan!

Didn’t really like Dong Su’s other half (she was boring most of the time) or that boring painter dude, was mad for half the story because I couldn't see the lovely Crown Prince Sado, and I agree the plot could’ve been better. I’m generally satisfied with the ending.
So first I thought YSH was the main lead -- got a surprise but I think it was suitable. It wasn’t a perfect drama but I liked the bromance (main and secondary one), romance (secondary one), and the distinctive characters. Some handsome people in there, too (Lee Yong-Woo, you need to get back on screen!). Overall, memorable and well-acted.
