That's completely wrong. If you had just taken the time to view my completed watch list, you'd understand the difference. I've watched many Cdramas, especially ones with many episodes, and many of them I've rated 8 and above. Her dramas so far are boring.
I hope this drama isn’t as boring as her other dramas that I’ve watched. Every time I’ve seen her as the female lead, I’ve either dropped the drama or found it difficult to stay interested. Does she just tend to choose these types of roles? The slow-burn, slow-paced, political storylines that feel a bit too drawn out? I’m hoping this one is different and doesn’t fall into the same pattern.
This show wasn’t bad, but overall I didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped. There were definitely more things I disliked than things I liked.
The two biggest positives for me were the cast and the romance. The actors are very easy on the eyes, especially the female lead, who is absolutely stunning. The romance was also the strongest part of the show. The relationship moved at a very fast pace, but the romantic moments, interactions, and chemistry between the leads were genuinely enjoyable. The kisses and affectionate scenes were some of the highlights.
Unfortunately, the rest of the show didn’t work as well for me. The pacing felt rushed, with scenes constantly jumping from one moment to another without enough explanation or transition. It often felt like we were missing important parts of the story. The flashbacks were also poorly organised.
The camera work was another issue. There were strange visual effects where some parts of the screen looked blurred while others were clear. I’m not sure what style they were trying to achieve, but I found it distracting rather than artistic.
I understand this was a short series, but I still think the storytelling and editing could have been handled much better. Another frustration was the MDL synopsis, which revealed a spoiler that I didn’t need to know before watching. That information should have been left out.
Overall, I’d say this was an average watch. The romance and chemistry between the leads helped raise my rating, but aside from that, there wasn’t much that stood out for me. It had potential, but the execution could have been much better.

You're absolutely entitled to your own opinion, but the meaning of a term isn't determined by individual opinion. Otherwise, someone could simply say, "In my opinion, a square has three sides." They're entitled to that opinion, but it doesn't change what a square is. The same applies here. We can have different opinions about whether we like a trope, but not redefine the trope itself.
Even MDL's own definition describes a love triangle as "a depiction of a romantic attraction or relationship involving three people." It doesn't say one person has to be romantically torn between two people at the same time.
This is also how the trope is commonly used in romance dramas. In countless dramas, the female lead only ever loves the male lead, while the second male lead pursues her. Those are still widely considered love triangles because the romantic dynamic involves three people. In this drama, it's even stronger because the female lead also shows interest in Yu Shu Bo for part of the story.
So my point isn't that you have to dislike the trope or change your review. It's simply that telling people there is no love triangle is misleading, because you're using a personal definition rather than the commonly understood one.
