Who's the first fire phoenix? In episode 1, the heavenly empress says the 2nd fire phoenix, referring to the FL. Is it the ML?

I see. I was concerned i needed to remember names, characters, timelines, and locations from ALP to have a better understanding of this drama.

Ah ok. So does this story ever get to the period when the ML returns in Ancient Love Poetry, or does everything happen before then?

So I'm on episode 1, but where are his parents? I thought Ancient Love Poetry had a happy ending with the ML coming back to life. So shouldn't they be all together?

Yeah i know, what a stupid question. I should've known better. I bet the SML will buzz around her like an annoying fly for most of the drama. She'll say "just friends" but continue leading him on and probably all this happening right in front of the ML. There probably won't be a SFL and if there is she won't last long. I forgot i was in dramaland where SML's rule.

I'm on episode 6, and so far they do have a bit of screentime together. Not so much in the first few episodes, but from episodes 4, 5, and 6 they do. She thinks of him more as family, even though they're not related because she's adopted.

Almost halfway through, so far, so good. Two love triangles at the moment, a SFL, but we don't see much of her, and when we do, she's just performing on stage. The major one is the SML, he wants to marry the FL. I just thought I'd inform anyone wanting to know if there are any love triangles. You're welcome.

Thank you for your honesty. You explained it how it is without misleading me by saying there are no love triangles when clearly there are. Even though it's minor and probably insignificant, it's still a love triangle. How is it we have a SML and SFL with feelings for the main leads, and yet people are disregarding it? It's not just here. I come across this on almost all dramas on MDL. There seems to be some misunderstandings on the definition of a love triangle.

Wait a minute. Episode 2, when the FL is waiting for the ML by the fountain, then sees him in slow motion, walking towards her with music in the background. That scene has been done before in the drama The Bride Of Habaek. It looks exactly the same.

I've just finished episode 1. I love it so far. It started well with things i like. For example, meeting and interacting early on, the hate to love trope, and the ML with powers. Although losing his powers concerns me a little. I don't like it when we have a super powered ML that loses his powers early on only to get them back at the end. Meanwhile, for most of the drama, he's just a weak human. I want to see him for most of the drama using his abilities to save the damsel in distress, teaching the bullies a lesson, and showing off his powers in front of the FL doing cool stuff. He can lose his powers for a short while, but not the whole drama. I hope it's not like that.
