Nah, there are so many non-romantic dramas out there with high ratings. This is a 7.7 because the writing is bad…
Exactly, that's my point. If the writing had given it some romance, it would've changed the story and experience. It wouldn't have been boring. Some dramas don't need the romance, but it has to be so good that it can get by without it. Romance can often save a drama if the other parts are boring or don't live up to the hype.
I like how she vigorously pursues the ML and how determined she is to win his heart. Usually, it's the ML doing these things. It's refreshing seeing this in a FL.
I'm on episode 12, and i find it strange when the misunderstanding between the leads is resolved (him thinking she's getting married to her friend) she never asked him why did you think I'm getting married, who told you that. Why wasn't that question asked? Why didn't he tell her how he received this incorrect information? Wouldn't that be one of the first questions you'd ask?
Yep, but you'll have to decide what you prefer. To wait between episodes, or just one longer wait and then binge. I prefer to wait and then binge because the wait doesn't feel like a wait because I'm watching other dramas.
Does anyone agree that A Business Proposal has set a new standard in kdrama romcoms? I found A Business Proposal is similar to a Cdrama romcom, but with it's own kdrama influence, which is perfectly fine with me, it gives us the best of both. So if people are comparing King the Land to A Business Proposal, then this must be the next drama hybrid. The only other kdrama I think comes close to this Cdrama/kdrama hybrid would be My Secret Romance.
So she's pursuing the ML. She knows he's getting jealous of the SML, but she continues to hang out with the SML🤔 If i was pursuing someone, and i knew they were getting jealous, i certainly wouldn't jeopardise the potential relationship by continuously hanging out with the other person. Unless she's doing it on purpose to get a reaction from the ML.
2ML is so intense for me. Im sensitive to bfs turning around and declaring their love. It's awful and creepy.…
That's why sometimes I'm apprehensive about a person in a romantic relationship to be CLOSE friends with the opposite sex. Especially when they regularly meet up for coffee, drinks, meals, and so on. But if the close friendship must continue, there must be clear boundaries set by the person who's in a romantic relationship, and meeting up together should not be a regular occurrence.
I soo agree to thisEven i was worried about the comments saying FL was extreme cringy and difficult to tolerate??But…
Absolutely. And it's not just this drama i see these comments. It's most dramas where the FL is clingy. I don't understand why women dislike the FL with this trait, but when the ML is like that, they see him as adorable and cute. I love it no matter if it's the FL or ML. It shows they know how to express themselves and they're not afraid or embarrassed about it. If you know what you want, and it turns out to be an effective successful strategy, then go for it.
SML confessed 2 times, once at the start ep 6 and was rejected nicely and again at the end ep 22, which again…
So they're both guilty of causing misunderstandings. The SML for hitting on her, knowing she has a boyfriend. And the FL for allowing it to happen without setting clear boundaries and spending more time with him. Is that right? Also, do the interactions between the FL and SML cause any conflict between the leads?
