Ah, i see you've picked it up again. I'm back here to update you as I'm now on episode 15, and i agree with you that this trying to escape was overdone. While it was necessary in the beginning, they dragged it out for too long. But the story is still interesting and I'm still invested as I'm curious to find out what happens and how their romance develops and blooms. And now that we know episode 17 is the turning point, it's a little more reassuring.

It seems good judging from your review, but could you please elaborate on the feelings the ML deveops for another character? In the description, it says "due to the stone's influence and the immortal God's eternal love, he develops feelings for one of the members of the sect, Gu Qing." Does this become an obstacle between the leads? Does it last long?

Interesting, I'm only on episode 8, and i was hoping she'd discover his identity or at least stop trying to escape by episode 15, but unfortunately i was informed she finds out in episode 24, but i don't know if she's still trying to escape by then. You might have to hold out a little longer.

😂 I've tried some Japanese for a bit. But yeah, the FL's are basically the same in Jdramas. They're incapable of saying no, setting boundaries, fighting back, and so on. I also just finished Color of Romance with the same type of FL but worse.
