I'm only on episode 1, but i can't believe he's not aware he has a son. I don't care what reason they had to separate. She shouldn't have kept his son's existence from him. It's disgusting and appalling. He now missed 5 years of his son's life. He'll never get that time back. I'm surprised i haven't seen one comment addressing this. Some viewers will freely throw around the word toxic when it involves the ML, but when a FL keeps a child away from his father, nothing is mentioned, and by far, that's more absurd than a ML merely rejecting a FL and being labelled toxic for it.
Edit: The first couple of episodes reminds me of Autumn's Concerto. Another drama where the FL doesn't reveal the childs existence to the father. It was a great drama, but that appalling, selfish act made me sick.
Edit: Even after meeting his son, she still doesn't reveal her child is his. The boy even calls the SML daddy right in front of the ML. It's utterly revolting.
Edit: Now that he knows the child is his, he actively tries to spend time with his son, as he should, and rightfully so. But no, the FL has other ideas. She wants him to stay away from their child, smh. Disgraceful. The ML isn't abusive, violent, or a threat to the mother and child. He's competent, intelligent, caring, and financially stable. He has every right to be with his son.
between who 💀 not everything needs romance in it, there is certainly little to no space for explicit romance…
And here it is, the unnecessary conflict comment. Who said anything about romance in everything? And your comment doesn't make sense because it goes both ways. not everything has to have no romance.
Any love triangles? When do the leads develop feelings for each other/become a couple?
So now you're resorting to insults by implying I'm stupid. I think you need to google what a love triangle is. By definition, a love triangle is a situation in which two people both love a third person. If you believe that's incorrect, then you need to get yourself educated.
Any love triangles? When do the leads develop feelings for each other/become a couple?
Ok, no need to be triggered. I'm not insulting you or offending you at all, I'm just telling you how it is. Just look at every comment section in a rom-com drama on MDL, and they're all talking about love triangles. If "you" think we're all using the term incorrectly that's your misconception. No need to get agitated over it and defensive.

Yeah, i understand that's a true love triangle, but for Asian drama, we use that term for the scenario i mentioned above. I think it's even used in the tags when we see a drama with a love triangle that lasts a whole series even if it's not a true love triangle. But we have to call it a love triangle because there's no other term for it, and it has to describe the relationship between the three characters involved.
