It's because these drama's are mostly made for female audiences. The female viewers often relate or put themselves in the shoes of the FL. It's a fairytale dream to go from a poor, struggling, single life to then get noticed by the rich, handsome, CEO who loves, cares, protects and provides for her, therefore saving her from her somewhat miserable life.

Is the ML involved in all her lives going back a thousand years? How does she reconnect with her 18th life in the 19th life? Wouldn't the ML, family and friends be old?
Many upset the SFL has romance with the ML😒 I guarantee if the roles were reversed, if the FL had romance with the SML, no one would say anything. In fact, they'd ship her with the SML.
Looks good. It seems the ML will be your typical smart, ambitious, CEO that's always loved the FL, while the FL will learn to love him as time goes on with his persistent but subtle pursuit. I'll be patiently waiting for this to finish airing before I start watching.
I'm halfway through, and it's difficult to tell if she truly likes him. When he's in danger, hurt, or not around, she seems concerned, but we don't know if it's because she likes him or just interested in completing her mission. I'm not sure or convinced.
