"There are also no annoying ex-girlfriends nor ex-boyfriends." I love how you included no ex boyfriends. Most would just mention the ex girlfriends because they wouldn't mind ex boyfriends. It's just more eye candy for them no matter if they cause misunderstandings or even if it's toxic. Looking out also for the male audiences. Love it. This drama looks good, I'll start watching this. One thing you didn't mention was intimacy and skinship. Do we see any of these moments?
I haven't watched it yet, but i believe it's better with romance, infact I think it's necessary. It gives her…
I understand, but the romance is there, and it had an impact on the story. If it wasn't for the romance, we may have had a different outcome. So we have to accept that the romance was necessary for this story regardless of whether it was minor. You mentioned earlier, "But at the end of the day, this is a revenge story, not a romance story." That's right, it is about revenge, but that doesn't mean the little romance we got wasn't needed. It was infact important, because it was intertwined in the whole series. Romance in a revenge drama doesn't mean there has to be rainbows and lollipops with fairies and cupids. That's not the purpose of romance in revenge dramas. You're referring to rom-coms. That's different. And yes, you're right. Not everyone needs to be in a relationship to be happy, but that's in general. The leads relationship in this drama was indeed important and necessary for their happiness. If you remember, the FL was about to commit suicide after getting revenge, but then saved when she realised the ML was in pain. For this drama, specifically, romance and their relationship were needed.
Yeah, good. A few things didn't make sense. Why did his powers start to fade a few episodes in? Although it didn't last long, we didn't get an explanation. Who are his two sidekicks? What are they? They live in the afterlife but also on earth. They can freely come and go as they please, and one of them is wealthy earning a living. How do they explain his identity on earth?
Awesome, i loved it. The revenge was satisfying, and the punishment was priceless. I loved the fear in their eyes from the moment she returned. The romance made it even better, infact it was necessary. The way they helped each other with revenge was fantastic. Also, both leads needed the romance and each other. Otherwise, revenge was all they had and lived for. It gave them hope and prevented them from further misery. I need more revenge/romance dramas just like this.
There was some romance but I think it was unnecessary and their chemistry wasn’t that great.

How's the romance and chemistry? Any love triangles? When do the leads become a real couple? Any break ups?
I haven't watched this yet, but I would agree with r0204_me. Even though there are probably not many interactions between them, if it affects all three characters, then i consider that a love triangle. In today's dramas, most love triangles involve two male characters and the FL. Usually, the FL never has feelings for the SML, but the SML will intentionally or unintentionally cause some problems. Many would say that's not a love triangle because the FL doesn't have feelings for the SML, but i disagree, I'd say that's a typical Cdrama love triangle.

So you don't want her to find love? You want to prevent her from some happiness so she can devote herself to revenge and misery? Why can't you have revenge and romance together? Why does it have to be one or the other? She should have both, she deserves it.
was the romance really necessary tho? i kinda loved the pining ... also kinda binging 16 eps worked
I haven't watched it yet, but i believe it's better with romance, infact I think it's necessary. It gives her a breath of fresh air, a moment of calmness, a way to recharge after giving her all for revenge. It also provides her a normal life after getting revenge. At least she can be happy after all that misery. It doesn't have to be all dark and gloomy. Amidst the darkness, a ray of light gives us hope. She was devoted to darkness, but in light, she found comfort. It doesn't have to be all romance, but a little goes a long way. Capisci?
I just want to make sure of something before watching this. Does this have romance? If so, do both parts 1 and 2 have romance? If so, which one has more? It doesn't have to be much, but I'd love if it had some romance.
