In the end she did choose Wang So but because of a misunderstanding they didn't end up together. But in the final scene they made it seem that Wang So would find her even if he had to cross space and time. That's why we need season 2. I'm still waiting.

Yes so true, unlike other dramas except for Vagabond they made it end as if there's going to be another season.
