sponsors r important in the production process of anything . yes , sometimes in dramas they go over the top with…
I guess Kdramas aren't popular enough if they need to rely on sponsors to make a living. I don't see dramas from other countries using such tactics to make money.
Off topic. What's the deal with advertising products in Kdramas? Here I am enjoying a Kdrama and all of a sudden it's like I'm watching a commercial. It just brings down its overall value, I mean do they only think about money? Don't they have enough to pay their actors and staff? Can't we just watch a drama in peace without them trying to sell us something? Not that it stops me watching it, infact sometimes I find it funny how in one moment the actors are focused in character and in the next they become a salesman. If I wanted people trying to sell me something I'd just watch free to air TV with commercials every ten minutes.

Lol Asian thinks it’s romantic that the boys go buy things for the girls. I agree with you, when me and my husband…
Yes thank you, this is exactly what I'm saying. I understand in your situation it's easier if one is with the kids and the partner goes off, but I'm talking about no kids involved just one on one dating. It just seems more romantic when you're together the whole time instead of leaving your date alone somewhere. What's the point waiting alone when you can just wait together even if there is a queue. You can hold hands, talk, kiss whatever. I see it in most Asian dramas and it just doesn't make any sense leaving your partner alone.
It happens in most real relationships that I know of.It's not always convenient for both people to go order. In…
Uh yes i see, i guess it depends how far away you are from your date. Like you said if it's within eyesight and if that's the case then yes i understand it's ok, i mean it's common sense if you're at a restaurant or somewhere like that of course it's not convenient for both people waiting to order, but what I'm talking about and the scenes I've seen on tv is when it's a greater distance away further than the eyes can see.
Yeah a great drama, i gave it a 10, but even though the FL realised her mistake and apologised, she's still a…
Oh yeah of course i understand they made it like this for entertainment, character development and to strengthen the bond between the leads in later episodes, and i ended up loving her character in those later episodes. Also I'm not talking about the actors but the characters, i know it's fiction, I'm just describing the feelings this show draws from its viewers, and that's why i loved this drama.

Why are you making this about gender? We're talking specifically about this show, and in this show the ML is innocent and the FL f*cked up, if the roles were reversed I'd say he's a dick. Yes she apologised and i already mentioned that in my previous comment, but in the earlier episodes she's a bitch without a doubt.
og they dont want their partners to walk or stand in queues so they get it for the both of them and have it together.ifc…
Culture shouldn't have anything to do with it, it's up to the individual, and i wouldn't leave my date alone, I'd prefer her to be by my side. I'm still paying for the item and giving it to her, the only difference is she's by my side and not waiting alone somewhere.

It's not polite. You're leaving your date alone, anything could happen to her and you're not around to protect her. So the reason is standing in queues? She's standing alone by herself waiting for her date to come back, she may as well just wait with him, it's the same thing except they're together, which infact is even better.
Maybe the ML is just trying to be polite in taking care of things like standing in line to get the drink, ice-cream,…
Well no it's not polite. You're leaving your date alone somewhere, anything could happen to her and you're not around to protect her. So what if she's standing in line, at least she's standing in line with her date instead all by herself waiting for him to come back, she may as well just wait with him, you know hand in hand together. LOL.
Yeah a great drama, i gave it a 10, but even though the FL realised her mistake and apologised, she's still a…
The point is they were lovers, you don't turn your back on a loved one without seeking the truth no matter what hardships she's going through. She's partly to blame, so yeah she's a bitch ^^)
When I was comparing Nevertheless and Love Alarm I was referring to the leads ending up together, not the other stuff, I don't really care about that. Some people think in Love Alarm there were three leads (the woman and two men) but let's be honest there were only two leads (Song Kang and So-hyun). Just like in Twilight Kristen Stewart and Robert Patterson were the leads and that's why they ended up together. But for some stupid reason in Love Alarm they decided the leads shouldn't end up together and that's why I didn't like Love Alarm. Also let's not call it Love Alarm 1 and Love Alarm 2, because really it's 16 episodes all up which is the average length of a Kdrama, they just decided to cut it in half and made it two seasons.
Off topic. I noticed a trend on Kdramas and Cdramas, when the leads are on a date and the ML asks the FL if she wants a drink or ice cream, he tells her to wait here while he goes to buy it. I don't understand this, why don't they just go together? He could be gone for like 5,10, 15 minutes or something like that. Does this happen only in dramas or is this silly thing going on in reality over there?

EDIT. By the way I'm NOT talking about when the couple are at a restaurant or somewhere like that where they're close by within eyesight. Of course it's common sense and convenient for one person ordering the food in that situation. What I'm saying is when he travels a greater distance further than the eyes can see leaving her alone. I've seen this scene in a few dramas and in some the FL was kidnapped, assaulted or something like that happened.
