Hmm. The description sounds like the story is one huge love triangle. Then there's Kwon Yul as the SML. One of the most annoying SML's involved in love triangles. This makes me believe the description is accurate, and the story is basically a love triangle. For the viewers, is that right?

Hopefully, it's not like that for the rest of the drama. Reminds me of Lois Lane when they cut her hair short in the tv show Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman. It wasn't a good look.

Very good with a very beautiful FL with great acting skills. Good romance, good chemistry, good interactions, and a good ending. It's not rated higher because there's a SFL with feelings for the ML while there aren't any SML's with feelings for the FL. There's also intimate scenes between the ML and SFL. But i guarantee if there were any SML's with feelings for the FL, it would've been rated much higher. Apparently, second lead syndrome is essential😒

Because when you mentioned you're so glad they moved on from that trope, it implies you don't like it when the ML loves anyone but the FL. The trope of the FL with the SML still exists. So when you say you're glad they've moved on from that trope doesn't make sense, unless you're only referring to the relationship between the ML and SFL. You also only mentioned "he was completely smitten with another girl before falling for the main girl." If it's true what you just said that it doesn't matter if it's the ML or FL with feelings for another character, then you wouldn't have just mentioned "he was completely smitten with another girl." That's why i believe you don't like SFL's, but you're just fine with SML's.

But most dramas these days are the opposite, where the FL is smitten for the SML before falling for the ML. So you're ok with the current trope of the FL with the SML, but you don't want a SFL involved with the ML? Double standards?

Nope, once again, that's not it either. Slowwww burn, skip, fast forward or not, the fact is the FL never loved the ML. She couldn't be with her true love. Once she realised that, she settled for the ML. Just to be clear, i have no preference for the leads. I just want to see a FL in love with the ML. This drama doesn't have it. That's why i rated low.

Nope, that's not it either. She had fun with the man she truly loves rather than caring for the ML. Even if he told her to stay away, that's fine, but that doesn't mean she goes running straight to the SML for another round of flirting. This isn't a slow burn romance because there wasn't any romance between the leads because she doesn't love him. This drama should be called Story Of FL With SML.
