Thank you, I loved the novelty, I waited a lot to add the Filipino titles that I have already seen and I want to see. I would love for the productions of India and Turkey to be added too!
One of my favorite Filipino movies. At first glance, reading the synopsis, I thought it was more a romantic comedy in high school, light and without major concerns... but what was not my surprise when I saw myself crying in several scenes. :D I loved the movie and how two stories are told, one in the past and one in the present. The couple from the past completely stole the scene for me, it was very beautiful and exciting to follow their relationship.
Well said as always, Fran!Sorry to piggyback off your great response but I wanted to address the ending in further…
Thank you! :D I loved your review on the finale, very interesting, and I agree with you! For all this, I found the meaning of the end very beautiful and hopeful!
I agree with all your reasons :D I simply loved this drama from start to finish. I completely understand why it was a hit in China and got a high note on the Chinese website Douban.
With you have a very nice feeling of nostalgia, it reminded me of my high school days. At the same time, it brings realistic portions of this phase of life with its uncertainties, confusion of feelings, fear of choices and how they will affect our future. Honestly, I do not understand the critics about the ending or the few romance scenes. The relationship of the protagonists is beautiful, because it shows the importance of simple everyday gestures when someone likes and cares a lot about the other.
The writing is wonderful, with tones of reality, but if there is not much romance and a fairy tale ending, most people judge all the quality of the story. From the outset, it became clear to me that the focus of the drama was no longer a "sugar romance" like most of the dramas portrayed in high school but rather the friendship and personal growth of the characters.
The ending was not "bad, stupid", as many insist on indicating. The ending was balanced, it followed the realistic tone presented throughout the drama, but it also gave us hope. He showed how life really is: we live trying, without the certainty of tomorrow and that everything will work.It was exactly this message that the end left for me: nothing is guaranteed, we can fail, but we owe it to ourselves the attempt.
The drama is wonderful, but for those who care about romance and nothing else, it may not be for you. However, for those who love dramas about the reality of life, love in its various forms, friendship, challenges, failures and personal growth, With You is definitely a great indication.
38 so far, YQ finally fulfilling his potential as the next emperor, and the look on PJ face when he realized YQ…
Yuan Qi better than Ping Jing? Never, there is no comparison between the two. Despite the cover brave, YQ is only a weak, coward who uses the excuse of his family's misfortune to act maliciously, betray his country and also the only people who truly helped him.
It was sad because... it ended :( BUT IT'S A HAPPY ENDING GUYS, DON'T WORRY.
Thank you! :) They heard my prayers. kkkk This drama wrapped my heart and left it in pieces several times. Even though I usually have no problems with sad endings, I got so involved emotionally with the characters and their sufferings that I was only dreaming desperately with a happy ending. <3
The last time i checked on this .. there were bad comments telling that if you dont read the book you wouldnt…
These comments were about the film version: Once Upon a Time, which has Liu Yi Fei as the protagonist. The film had many critics (with which I agree). The drama is wonderful, to this day I still have not got over it. <3
The couple was really cute and with a great chemistry, but the script itself was weak and the story was very nonsensical / unbelievable: several arguments difficult to accept, especially the fact that Kim Min Kyu confusing Jo Ji Ah with a robot, was completely in the face that she was human.
Anticipating your next drama eagerly!
