This was kinda middle of the road for me. Perth is THE REASON I watch BL, so I'm always happy to see him fall in love. Chimon is a good actor, and I liked him here, but I never felt like he was in love. A solid group of supporting characters. I actually enjoyed the "dangerous" element later on, but it would have worked better and been more effective if they had sprinkled this throughout the episodes and gave each of the eps a sense of danger and suspense that then led to tension between the couple(s). A bit of wasted talent, and not enough here to make me watch again.
I want GMMTV give MarcPawin ship another go with a really good script. They have grown over the years and can…
Seeing Pawin's acting AFTER MGAYG I'm sure it was the director who led to his HORRIBLE performance in that series. He's been good in everything since. I'm saddened to hear he'll have to endure another series with that director.
It's annoying that they keep doing such romances, where the feelings of the characters are obvious, and their…
Agree. A couple of episodes of misunderstanding would have been okay, but they dragged this out far too long and went way too far for ANY misunderstandings.
I fell for this one hard. Both of the boys had an innocence and vulnerability about them that just drew me in. Solid acting.but Hyuga Wateru has a really unique quality. Such the boy next door, with a bit of geek and dork and athlete. His character was so open and accepting and thoughtful. With the short length, I'm sure I'll watch again and again.
Aside from the fact that neither of the two leads should be playing HS students, this was a compelling first half of the season. Solid acting, great cinematography and lighting. Singto has never looked better. Liking all the layers and misdirection. Yes, I wish it was a BL, but it's still a good suspense series.
You go into the past to save your boyfriend, but when you come back to the future you still expect him to be in the hospital? This show gets worse every episode. But if they're bringing Mix back into play, then I'll keep watching.
DROPPED. When the best friend, while sitting in a chair eating noodles (that she prepared BEFORE he called), bitches that she was sleeping.... I know the writing and directing is going to be lazy from here on out.. There were enough issues already, but stupid mistakes like this infuriate me. Is anyone paying attention? Not gonna waste any more time on this.
This was just okay for me. I had to fast-forward through all the Top/Mew scenes from about Ep 6 on. This is the 2nd or 3rd series I've seen them in, and I've never found the actors very strong. I just don't buy anything they say as real. All the others are great. Mark was so strong here. And he looks cuter than ever. I liked the more real-to-life type of scenarios and complex characters, but something about this group just never gelled for me. I found myself rolling my eyes and sighing a lot, not the kind of reaction you want. Decent, but I won't rewatch.
Stop picking him up and throwing him over your shoulder. Stop the non-con kissing. You're in bed caressing each other. Just tell him you like him... for real. Not a fling. He even asked you and you still didn't speak. What kind of CEO is so tongue tied? I adore these two, but this series is perpetual trigger warnings.
I see I'm in the minority, but I thought the first episode was just okay. I didn't connect with either of the leads. The introverted lead with few friends is such a popular BL trope. I wish they'd branch out a bit more. But i'll give it a couple of eps to see how it progresses. I was really looking forward to the mafia angle.
Thank you 😠this is the comment I’ve been looking for to restore my faith in humanity. I do understand that…
So... if you went back in time and met the person that you loved for 10 years... you don't think you would be attracted to them and want to hang out with them? You fell in love with them at 17, so now you meet their 17 year old self... wouldn't you fall in love all over again? Nothing indicates that Old Soon and Young Ongsa are actually "dating". They aren't sleeping together (well, in the same bed, yes, but not... naked). The kisses have all been chaste. And once Ongsa knows they actually dated for 10 years, of course he would be even more inclined to be loving and affectionate with him. Aside from that... it's a FANTASY. Nothing like this could ever actually happen.
So true. I also don’t understand the purpose of trying to avoid their 10 years of happiness because of an accident…
I agree this is convoluted, but the doctors have said they don't know if Ongsa will recover, So Soon is thinking the worst and can't accept it. I think their plan was... if they had never met, then Ongsa would be doing something entirely different on that night. He wouldn't be headed to their anniversary celebration, so he wouldn't get into the car accident. A MILLION other things could have changed the course of that night, but for some reason the writers chose "if we never meet your life will be different". Why anyone who had 10 glorious years with the love of their life would want to erase that, rather than just say... telling Ongsa to stay home that day... is beyond me.
And I can't believe time travel would happen to destroy a loving relationship. Soon probably needed to find something out. We've got 6 more long episodes to find out.
Although I skipped through most of this episode I did watch some scenes in its entirety and did get emotional.…
FIND its legs? We're halfway done. If they can't figure it out by now they are in big trouble. But agree, Young Ongsa is very strong. And this episode (6) D-R-A-G-G-E-D
As in the Korean version from last year, this series doesn't give you enough real insight into the boys and their personalities. There is too much editing going on and not enough substance to truly get to know any of the boys. How am I supposed to fall in love with any of them? Based on looks alone?
This idea of them asking one question on the phone and then hanging up is ridiculous. Dating is about getting to know someone. The phone call gives barely any insight and half of the boys waste their time because they're so scared. Use it to show which guy you like, but don't force them to ask questions rather than have a normal conversation.
The whole top/bottom conversation was hysterical. Watching 4 guys silently FREAK OUT at the thought of revealing what every gay reveals on the first date was so funny. Sorry for that new guy who asked the question. He will not be getting any phone calls. Except from me! (although truly I am team Guan Yu)
Of the 3 dating shows I've seen i think SPARKS CAMP/Phillipines was the best.
