I know Bride-kidnapping is practiced in certain areas of India and some african countries (mostly in rural areas), but it's my first time learning about the Hmong culture, also I just found out that there's a documentary based on the Bride-kidnapping among the Hmong in a specific country, which was released in Spain in 2022.
I really wish that no being should go through such cruelty in their life.
The more I get to know stories like these the more I understand how lucky I am to be born and live in this part of the world.

I was born into the Indian culture in a SA country and so far lived in 2 Latin american countries. So I have families and friends with the same culture background in different countries. And no matter which is the country the culture is the same, upto today there are lots of arranged marriage, and if the girl complain after marriage (be it arranged or not) the elders will tell her to endure, he will change after she gets a baby (wrong), when that doesn't work they will tell her "endure a little more" he will change when he get older.
I also have seen lots of kindhearted, hardworking and caring husbands being treated badly by their wife and they do the same: Endure.
I think after enduring a hard marriage life for 20+ years it just become "normal", so when their daughter complaint they will just say "that is normal".

I love the latin american culture for this, parents are so supportive to their children, they love and treat both gender the same, they encourage both gender to become professionals and to be independant. They don't believe a woman sole existence in this world is to marry and have children, its an important part of her life, yes, but not the only reason of her life. They will always be there whenever their children needs them and will always support them , for example if their son or daughter choose a partner they don't like, they will give their opinion but at the end they will respect their children choice.

Immature, whining and squeaky voiced fls are the worst. And they will always put mls in trouble with their "brilliant ideas", and mls have to be so forgiving and everything and everyone will dance to her tune in the whole drama. These type of dramas goes directly on my NO-NO list 🤣

My wild imagination went off imagining Ji Bo Zai (portrayed by Hou Ming Hao) pretending to be a dancer to seduce Ming Yi to get something from her. That scene will be epic and it will go viral on weibo and douyin and I will be playing it on repeat, lol
