You mean most of Wuxias' dramas have bad endings? It 's not true at all imo :) Or perhaps you enjoy and choose extra those very tragic ones ? ;) If you like it, why not - each to his own! I watched many of them, actually most of them have decend endings, those really bad ones I try to skip if it is possbile. I don't need a very happy ending, but at least not too tragic, where the half of people die.

I honestly think they have plans on making a second season. But, since I found out that this drama was not popular…
It’s really true, hoping only that the second part will have more positive aspects…I know some people like to suffer while watching dramas but not me… I want to see more happy moments…and the resurrection of Qigmu , because in the first season the writers were really cruel 🙏 perhaps they should change a director as in „ love and redemption „ he wasn’t savage as well, but at least that drama had a happier and longer ending than this one.
There are many dramas, when the first 1ML was less attractive than than 2ML in the eyes of the majority, but with his charm he could win the hearts of viewers anyways. The problem is that the 2ML is very charismatic, the authors just have to make him less likeable than the 1ML, and the problem will be solved or not ;)
