Exactly. Except I'd go further and say that not only are they not being brave to be in a BL, but it's the exact…
I think maybe some of the comments in this thread are from people you blocked or who blocked you. Someone did bring up the question of whether this is a bromance due to no kissing or other intimacy.
how is the show so far?? I heard that there might be sad ending since they said there is one in the manhwa can…
The main part of the manwha has an open ending, as Ivy describes above.
There are two side stories that follow it -- one from Dayeol's perspective and the other from Taehyun's. In both they are a couple in a relationship but they're still navigating the line between being friends and lovers. All the same they are happy and affectionate with one another and a sexual relationship is strong implied.
Not related to ASTCO but snowregret blocked me, when I was just replying! I don't know whether to laugh or cry...…
I've wondered if he's the same guy who has had multiple accounts on here spewing personal insults at the people who disagree with him. Not only are the comments similarly rude, the usernames have been puns that use the same approach as "SnowRegret".
That's just kind of how these industries work, get the band members into acting to get exposure (or vice versa…
Right! For heaven's sake, read any number of bios on here for Kdrama actors and actresses and see how many of them say they got their start in a K-Pop group.
To me it has seemed like an accepted/expected purpose of those groups.

You might have read the manhwa before the side stories were written. I got the impression from the author's note that she added them to make it more clear that the guys were in a romantic relationship. She even answers a question on who is top and who is bottom. (Spoiler: they're vers.) 😊

The completed work is not a bromance. This is confirmed by the two side stories.
The first one starts out with Dayeol saying that the two of them are going out and that he feels like a failure as a boyfriend. When he sincerely confesses to Taehyn, Taehyn starts to cry because he's so surprised and happy.
Granted, Dayeol also says that the relationship is weird because they both have feelings for one another but act more like friends than a couple, but it ends with Taehyn putting the moves on Dayeol and contemplation of who should be top or bottom.
In both of the side stories they do kiss, and it's not a dream or one of them imagining it wishfully -- it's a kiss. In the second side story Taehyn refers to them sleeping together, and when Dayeol urges him to express himself and say what he wants, Taehyn tells him he wants to have sex.
Of course, we don't know how the series will treat this. It might end up adapting only the main part of the manhwa and leave out the side stories. And, if it does include the side stories, maybe any kisses will be obscured by artful camera angles, or merely implied.
Since people have commented that the script does not include a kiss, it seems that the side stories might have been left out of the series, but that doesn't make the manhwa any less of a legitimate BL.
After Episode 4 I'm nervous now. This is approaching masterpiece status, which increases my worry that it will eventually come undone by a sad or open ending.
What gives me hope is that I had this same reaction as Semantic Error and To My Star Season 1 hit their stride, and those turned out great. This is a different kind of story but I'm equally blown away by it.
I'm enjoying this because it's Net-James, but because of the way Uea is constantly victimized by a parade of abusers (mother, stepfather, ex-bf, and now coworker) it's turning into a Grand Guignol drama that will pretty soon be ripe for satire.
And is Tutor really in this? We're at the halfway mark and still no sign of him. Should we send out a search party?

Only Parts 1 and 2 are free.
I've noticed that the manhwas for "Oh! My Assistant" and "Unintentional Love Story" are also available there.

I love Taehyun's overbite.
Yet I know I will end up watching it because I like the actor who plays Fuse. I'll take the hit for everyone who's dropping. 😄
